This was the first time ever I’ve been in an Aldi Store and I was truly impressed. It was immaculate including the restrooms, checkout area, food bins, entrance foyer and floors. I know it’s less than a month old, everything in place, even in the back, totally clean. I hope it stays this way. You pay 25 cents for a cart, which is refunded when you take your cart back, (personally, I don’t know why all stores don’t do this, cuts down on employee time scooping up leftover carts all over the lot, and the lazy ones that do leave them, I’m sure another patron would take back for the quarter). The store has empty boxes to load your items as they have no plastic or paper bags, so remember your food bags if you have any; Aldi does sell branded parcel bags if you would rather buy one for your items.
The only thing I would say was negative, there was a girl who looked to be taking inventory at the meat section, who we waited for, she saw us and just kept working, no welcome or hello or excuse me, let me step aside for you, nothing, it was like we were invisible. She did not bother to move as she knew we were waiting for her to move along and we ended up passing up on looking at the meats where she was standing. I would have her take a customer service course of some sort as she was oblivious to paying patrons.
Thanks Aldi for a nice shopping experience. Prices are much less than our local Walmart and Ingles and it was a pleasure...
Read moreThis entire brand is a hit or miss. It's not just our store, but all of them. The products are inconsistent, so a lot of times you find something you love, and then they stop carrying it. I understand seasonal (looking at you lobster ravioli!), but pretzels and cooking oil?
Regarding this location, I will say I only visit during the mornings. This particular store is staffed with douchebags not present at the other stores I've visited, particularly on Sunday evenings. One manager literally ran me over when I was in his line of walking...while I was reaching down into one of the aisle freezers. My husband was taken aback as well and said, "Wow...did he not see you, or did he just not care?" No "excuse me" or anything of the sort, much less an apology. I would say maybe he was just having a bad day, but he has had that attitude every time...
Read moreSeems to have good connections for meat. Would not really recommend for most highest quality products, but decent quality meat for way less than other stores they seem to shine.
It's hard not to be offended by being routed around like cattle, not being trusted with carts, not really having great quality produce or products without dyes and preservatives. They only carry OK quality products but I don't really buy stuff with all the extra chemicals so there was nearly nothing for me.
Think I'll be back for affordable grass fed meat though, can really appreciate it for that if that continues to pan...
