ALDI — Local services in East Franklin Township

I found the associate and cashier, Michael to be quite rude. As I was walking in, I was walking between two customers carts and instead of pausing like a gentleman, or even acknowledging me and saying "excuse me", he squeezed right in the small area right past me. When it was time to check out, he made no eye contact nor did he greet me. When I encounter people like that, I make it a point to say "hello", and ask how they are doing. He did answer me, but again no eye contact at all, or smile. Even as he held out my receipt, he refused to look at me. I don't know if it was because I was a black woman, but in any case it was highly unprofessional. You shouldn't be in a customer service position if you cannot give proper service. I would expect more than the bottom of the barrel interaction I received. I've always been a fan of shopping at Aldis, but if you employ folks like that, you will surely lose good business.

Medium sized market, great prices and quality even with off brand foods. Employees are usually on the floor, and the produce selection is plentiful. There is a good selection of food items as well as household/kids/miscellaneous stuff, all at affordable prices. This location is clean and well stocked, has friendly staff, is in a plaza with a handful of other quick stop stores. You can purchase bags for 7, 10, or 95 cents depending on preference, cart rental is a quarter but there are often carts available without the hassle. My only reason for 4-Star rating is they only occasionally offer baskets or allow you to grab a bag prior to shopping, once I can do that every time I come here I will definitely...

Purchased a flatbread pizza, chicken, bacon ranch. At home, I rearranged the chicken and bacon, but added blue cheese and more provolone. I love the taste of blue cheese, so that was a no brainer. The flatbread pizza had more than enough product on it to be acceptable, but I like more "stuff". Baked beautifully in my oven on a preheated pizza stone. I put that in while oven preheated.
