Kings Family Restaurant - Kittanning, PA — Restaurant in East Franklin Township

I have never written a review in my life, much less a negative one, but I just had a very bad experience in this restaurant, and wanted to prevent others from going through the same. Our server seated us as probably the only people in her section. There was only two of us, so it was not a big order at all. She brought us our drinks and then we waited about 10 minutes for her to come back and ask us about our food. We ordered two meals and two others to go. My stepdad ordered a small cup of soup, and was brought a large bowl about fifteen minutes after our food order was taken, and only about two minutes before our food came out. His food was incorrect, his side dish not even being included. she realized this and asked if he still wanted it, to which he said yes, and then the side was never brought out or mentioned by her again. She did not check on us once nor did we get refills. She was never even visible or in close proximity for us to call her over whenever we needed something. Only at the very end did she ask if we wanted another drink, I said yes, she asked which drink I had, and then brought me the wrong one. The to go orders were wrong, and toward the end she became very rude and snippy, despite the fact that she had not done her job correctly, or at all. She handed us our slip to check out, and because we wanted to leave immediately we stood up and walked to the front, and she literally disappeared. She was in the bathroom for about fifteen minutes and her manager had to ring us out. During our visit, several other customers had been seated in her section, to which I noted she had been attending to them much differently than us, meaning she was actually attending to them at all. She was also out of uniform, wearing something different than everyone else serving. I worked as a waitress for a long time, so I know what it’s like to have a bad day when working, and that’s not what this was. This was purposeful neglect of our needs and incorrectly doing her job. She was genuinely not even trying at all. Haven't been to kings in years and I doubt ill ever go back. The food was aweful and way over priced. $10.99 for a turkey club is outrageous! My wife particularly wanted to go because she said how much she loved the turkey club with ranch mayonnaise. When she got it the toast was burnt, she asked for white bread and pretty sure what she got was sourdough and there was only dressing on half the sandwich. My daughter got the blue ribbon burger and in the picture it shows blue cheese dressing with chunks of blue cheese but her burger had about a dime size dab of dressing and no chunks of blue cheese at all. I had the hat trick, my toast was also burnt, eggs were not over easy as I ordered, the cheesy hash browns were very disappointing and I asked for 1 buisket and gravy on the side and the kitchen messed up and gave me 2 so I was charged for a second meal.
