Overly experience is measured by horrible customer service. Quality of nails (so far) - good. But not satisfied with the shape. Usually I would say something to my nail tech to shape to my liking However, Al attitude was HORRIBLE !! She was not welcoming nor friendly. (Please keep in mind this was my first visit). In addition she failed to share her place of business is her home. This would had been common courtesy to share with a New customer. hence why I didn’t say anything about Nail shape (she displayed signs of annoyance once I walked in & ultimately did not feel safe to be particular) I drove a good distance and at that point was not turning back. Bad customer service and far from hospitable. She said merely two words to me but when it was time to cut her water off while washing/brushing my hands she did not hesitate to “ask” not to have the water running while brushing. We were there in silence for 90 minutes and keeping a convo with her FORGET about it. I have been to many nail techs and she is definitely the best! Not only is her work top quality but she is super creative. I sometimes feel indecisive about designs or shape but it is never an issue with al, she goes above and beyond and gives the BEST recommendations. She is also very welcoming and polite. When she sparks conversation it is genuine, unlike the fake customer service small talk people are used to. Some people fail to realize that just because a technician isn’t engaging a conversation with you doesn’t mean she’s rude. She is concentrated on doing YOUR nails. I have been with Al since 2015 and she has never let me down. My nails always exceeded my expectation because she practices her craft and makes sure what I asked for is what I receive plus better. It’s not easy raising children, owning a business, and now dealing with COVID but Al does it with quality work. I don’t think everyone understands the struggles of being a black entrepreneur, hence the negative comments.
