I'm editing my previous review. Several reasons for doing so. I do a lot of reviews & prefer to leave a positive rather than a negative. These last 2 trips to Linda's have truly been unpleasant. I can't believe the prices they're asking on produce now. It isn't even local & if you know what to look for on the stickers that is placed on produce. Then you'll know if they have been tainted & sprayed with chemicals. This is the case at Linda's now. The whole point of going to a local produce stand is to get local produce that has had as few chemicals as possible sprayed onto the food. Another reason is to keep from spending a fortune on produce. Neither of those reasons are met here anymore. They have made the inside look better with how they have situated the produce now. I'll give them that. It didn't cost them so much they had to raise costs on their produce as high as they have. Then, customers have always relied too on Linda's to have plenty of plants, herbs, edible plants available at this time at a decent & fair cost. Again, total let down. Today is 5/4/24. Few 🍅, pepper & 🥒 plants out. Their flowers are $3.49 for a 4 pack in which most have dead heads all over them. Very disappointing. I heard several customers ask for paper bags. They just kept doing what they were while telling each customer there weren't any. Point is...if we have to pay such costs for the same exact produce we would be paying in grocery stores. Why bother? Come on Linda's. Be better than this. There are still so many older customers that come here. They have relied on you for many, many years. Yes, we understand inflation is through the roof. But we also understand...
Read moreLinda's Produce is the best place for produce in Chattanooga. The prices are great and the produce is so much fresher than you find at any grocery store. The staff is very kind and helpful; they are always willing to lend a hand, carry things out, and give you any suggestions or information they can. Be aware that the hours are seasonal, and the staff made me aware that the Highway 58 location controls some of the social media (meaning the hours you find online may reflect the Highway 58 location's hours, not the Ringgold Road's location. It is always best to call before hand to insure you will have time to do your shopping and not keep the hard working staff any longer than necessary- which I can see is an issue in past comments. You don't want to stay over at your job, do you?) I have never had a bad experience with this business or any of their products in the many years I have...
Read moreI have been going to Linda’s for many years. They have lovely tomatoes all seasons and flowers, to plant, in season for the best price in town. Once a year I cook for 100 people and am able to buy cases of fresh produce for the best price and very fresh. The staff knows about the food and they will help carry to the car if needed. When making a large purchase I will find out the day the delivery truck comes and shop that afternoon. I also like the locally made products they feature: Sparkling grape juice, carnal corn, apple butter, fresh Herbs and such. After 20 years or more shopping there- I have no problem giving...
