This shopping center is older than I am. Despite attempts to modernize over the last twenty years, the stores that still remain here are community staples. The giant grocery is the last grocery store in PG county to have a beer and wine selection. Which is nice to be able to not have to drive to a second location for those. Honu Hawaiian BBQ has been a great addition to the center, offering Hawaiian style plate lunches as well as American-Chinese/Japanese options and burgers. But there's nothing really left to this strip mall besides Giant Food, a uniform store, and Honu. Two thirds of this mall are completely empty, probably due in part to the neighborhood. Landover Hills is aging in general and is not being kept up by local officials. It's a shame to see a once-thriving community become run down and ignored while areas nearby are growing to meet...

It's very sad to see the effects of change affecting a familiar shopping center that had so much potential and promise for a community. I'm hope that the shopping center will make a come...

They send you appointment confirmation texts only to later arrogantly call you and DEMAND that you check in with them (whatever that means) and if you get there without doing so, they (girl on the left behind counter) they don't greet you, but rather snap at you demanding that you turn around, leave out and read a sign on the door! I wouldn't send my mother there, and I'll spend my coins...
