Hip Hop Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Maryland

This old pg lady just LOVE'S this Hip Hop F&C location!! First one Iwas 1st introduced to was in Trinidad DC... I'm not a chicken lover but.... WoW! Grew up in the Lanham area & seen places come & go... even burn down (old Jerry's aka Peru Chicken) anyway when I walked into this HHFC, I was impressed by how clean it is and the huge menu... made Trinidad look punie.. but the Clam strips, fried okra, & fried pickles are just the best!! I just can't get how they can make fried food so, not greasy & tasty. And I have to add... ask for extra "Crack Sauce".. It's the lemon/pepper they use their main spice on most of their items to give it that extra Bam! They have Mombo sauce, but I can do a better one at home w/ketchup & duck sauce... anyway, the prices are reasonable & I always buy extra chicken wing for a few of the kids in my neighborhood who love HHFC at least they run to my car when they know I've back from a run there If you haven't tried HHFC & like clean fresh fried foods, you can't beat this location. Since Covid19, they have followed the guide lines & I'm happy they stayed open for us who sometimes Jones for a little fried Cod, pickels & Crack Sauce. Bon...

Old cold food took uber just to eat here and spent $30 for old nasty food. Acting like he didn’t understand simple questions I call after I get home because I booked an uber home and just a ten minute ride I arrived home to fix our plates with cold stale food . The guy tells me to bring my meal back even after me explaining I don’t have a vehicle I paid for and waited for my food and never received bad food from this company but this was my first time at this location you can bet I will not be going back WORST SERVICE ! He took his giving my my food in the first place when I was waiting at the counter he was taking other orders … told me to hold on going slow … they were not busy at all waste of money I’m beyond pissed as if I’m about to spend another $20 something on u er just for you to get shit right that should have been right in the first place uhhh no I asked if he would take my name to consider replacing the order he just kept saying bring it back today or tomorrow No WILL...

My first time trying Hip Hop Fish and Chicken. I’m new to the area and was in need of a good chicken spot and this place came highly recommended by my niece who is a big foodie.

I’ve been hearing so much about this “crack seasoning” and today I finally got to experience the hype! Honestly these were the best wings that I have had here in the DMV. I’ve had most of the competitors seasoned wings and either their chicken was over cooked with what should’ve been a great seasoned piece of chicken or vice versa, the chicken was cooked well but lacked the flavor profile. Either way Hip Hop Fish and Chicken are hands down the best in the area and my new go to for fried chicken.

This location was clean, the food was fresh and customer service was great! Money well spent. Family friendly environment with plenty of free parking available. Oh and the side dishes and desserts were equally as delicious as the...
