East Tawas Community Center — Local services in East Tawas

Nice clean, assessable building, welcoming entrances. Large parking lot, with pickle ball courts across from Center with shade tree and picnic table. Connection to baseball fields and pavilion. One significant concern was the tick population. I walked my dog along the edge of property mowed area in June. Dog picked up over 20 large ticks which was frustrating and required a trip to pick up tick medicine as many were embedded. Caution use of area near disc golf baskets or along mowed edges, both with pets...

Very spacious, decorated perfectly for a wedding reception, could hardly tell it was a gymnasium, plenty of parking. Didn't feel rushed to leave. The Center was easy to find and there was a lot to see on the street leading up...

Very clean with good service. Basketball courts are well maintains but a upgrade in equipment could be used. The elevator also needs some maintaining but the pingpong room upstairs is nice and the workout machines...
