My sister got her dress and bridesmaid dresses here. Her dress was beautiful but the bridesmaid dresses were a MESS.

The three bridesmaid dresses all ripped the night of my sister’s wedding (BEFORE the wedding even started.) One dress’ hook popped off, one dress had a ripped hem, and one dress had a ripped hem and a ripped sleeve and a missing ribbon. My mom had to fix them all half an hour before the ceremony. When my sister told JNE that a bridesmaid dress was missing the ribbon on it (we looked everywhere!!!), they blamed my sister for losing it (which didn’t make sense because the ribbon should have been looped through the dress anyway - it was clearly missing before we picked it up.) They told my sister to just buy a ribbon at Michael’s and that we must have lost it.

We also had issues with payment. They told me that I could pay a flat fee upfront for all alterations, which I did. Then when I went in for my second alteration, they tried to tell me I owed them more money because the original fee only included a hem. I told them I would pay when I picked the dress up again, because I knew I had already paid for it and wanted to double check. I double checked my receipt and sure enough it said I had alterations included in my original price. My sister, who was also at the original appointment and knew they had told me everything was included in that price, reached out and told them I already paid for alterations. They had to look into it but eventually they said I didn’t have to pay extra. If I never looked into it they would have charged me more money and gotten away with it.

We never wrote a bad review on them before the wedding because honestly we didn’t want anything else to “accidentally” happen to our dresses. But for the amount we paid for and the quality we got, and the horrible alterations and hems on ALL of the dresses, as well as the poor communication and blaming customers for their mistakes - it was not worth it. Would not go back.

As a side note, some of the positive reviews are from people in Florida and from where the family is originally located, which is odd since the business is located in CT. Makes me wonder who is writing...

After visiting many shops and trying on more dresses than I can count I ventured into Jayden Nicole Bridal Shop. I am in search of a Mother-of-the-Bride dress. I am not a girly-girl, nor do I have long legs and an hourglass shape… picture more of the typical 50-60 year old. Dress shopping in itself is a stress producing activity, let alone, for such an important event. This is completely out of my comfort zone so I was anxious as I pulled up to the shop. As I walked in, the relaxed atmosphere combined with Kristina’s smile and her friendly disposition immediately put me at ease. Little did I know how amazing this experience would become. Kristina looked me over and asked me a few questions to understand what style of dress and color I envisioned. She proceeded to a different room and came back pulling a rack of about 10- 12 dresses. I tried on the first one… ohhh pretty good. This is doable. As I proceeded to try on each of the items, I started to feel more comfortable. I think there were 2 maybe 3 in the bunch that I knew were ‘not for me’, but each dress was carefully selected with my height and build in mind. I think it was the 6th dress that I fell in love with. Let me repeat that - I fell in love with a dress! Seriously - since I haven’t even worn a dress in 25 years those are not words one would expect from me. I do not know how Kristina did it… she figured out what style of dress would compliment my not so perfect figure, hiding the flaws and accentuating the goods. My search is over - I ORDERED the dress and I cannot even describe my sense of relief. I can now spend the next 6 months preparing for my daughter’s wedding without worrying about how I am going to look for her special day. Thank you so much Kristina! I don't ever leave reviews, but this place was Phenomenal. I cannot say enough good things about Jayden Nicole. I was feeling quite discouraged after an earlier appointment with a big name bridal shop, and didn't think I would be able to find a dress I absolutely loved that was within my budget. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the Sweetest woman, Kristina. She began pulling a variety of dress styles for me to try on since I wasn't too sure what I was looking for. As I saw the dresses she was pulling, I thought for sure they were going to be out of my price range. When she told me they weren't, I was in total disbelief. Every single dress I tried on was absolutely stunning. Any little detail about any of the dresses that I didn't like, Kristina would quickly grab a jeweled belt, alternate strap material, or clip it in a certain way to help me visualize it, assuring me that any part of the dress could be changed or altered to get it exactly to my liking. She is so good at what she does and has such a gift for helping you imagine different ways to alter/accessorize a dress to find the perfect style. Kristina spent so much time with us and made the entire process so fun - the way it should be! She is so easy to talk to and a joy to work with. We were given undivided attention for the duration of the appointment. She helped me stick to my budget with dresses that I loved - so I never felt like I had to settle. And if she ever pulled a dress that was a little over my budget, she would mention it before I tried it on. I did not think I was going to walk out with a dress that day (considering it was only my first day looking) but I ended up falling in love with one and am SO happy that I stumbled upon Jayden Nicole.
