A few years back how was that another location that will remain nameless looking for some retro stuff and building my GI Joe collection. The amount of money I had spent there one of my figures was missing a tiny little accessory that clipped to his leg. When I asked if there was any way they could knock a couple of bucks off considering the figure was missing this piece, in a very corporatemindset they pretty much told me no. Eric happened to notice my frustration and approached me and told me about his store he said that if I came up and visited him he would give me the peace for free. That led to an ongoing relationship of many pieces purchased over the immediate future. The fact that he went above and beyond and continues to go above and beyond every time I purchase something from him shows me what a great person dies inside and out. My son is low functioning autistic and has just few true passions in life. SciFi and DVD's are tops of that short list. Ryan has a new favorite place to regularly visit: Emporium of Retro and Interesting Collectibles. The selection is phenomenal and the staff are absolutely the most patient and kind people with him. As for myself, a confessed SciFi nerd, many of the toys I played with as a boy are right there on the shelf, hanging from the ceiling, basically, anyplace they can display something wonderful...they do. They have old games, puzzles, board games, records, DVD's, VHS tapes, Action Figures, and more. Every time I take my son in there there's something new to see. Highly....Highly Recommend. I saw the videos for a few weeks and finally decided to make the 1.5hr trip to check it out. I was absolutely blown away the longer I was there. We made about 10 laps around the store and each time we saw somethings we didnt see earlier. The selection is second to none and so is the customer service from Eric and Jay. We normally hit up the Toy Vault or Thats Entertainment and theres several other places we frequent. Emporium doesnt even have a close second to them in our opinion! We will definitely be making the trip every few weeks because the prices are much lower than I expected walking in. Every other place we've been to you can find the same items online cheaper. But not here!!! I am so happy Emporium is 1.5hrs away because I would be there every week...
