Had a emergency situation. Had a payment agreement, and they still cut water off. I have 3 young children. Ex put a stop payment on check due to DV issues, single mom going through crisis. Escaped DV. We are actually hiding from it. I Explained this to Mr Baggett. Asked for 48 hours to come Up with $300. Because they’re prices are ridiculous. Not his problem I know, BUT I have NO problem paying bill responsibly. However they did NOT inform me the payment was stopped. As I paid with check with a joint account. I was NOT aware having a joint account someone could be so low to do that with children involved. No income no support new to this lifestyle. DV is no joke. I asked Mr Baggett basically cried and begged for 48 hours to pay he boldly said NO. NO. NO. i asked what he would do if it was his family or daughter? He clearly said “make better choices” and my daughter would never be in this situation. I asked again please, please give me 2 days. He said exactly this “ NO, we need our money” if I cut you back on and you don’t pay then what? Sir you cut it off like you did yesterday. My children have school. We can’t wash, flush, cook…. I have never have had this issue with my account please sir help us out. NO I need your money. I said do you have any grace or compassion? “NO. Not without your money “ no wonder why there is 1 star. He’s so compassionless. He said he nor his daughter would never be in this position. Well MR Baggett never say NEVER. God sees all. I was proud to be in this community until I spoke to you. You hurt me. And literally made me lose hope in humanity. My children and I will suffer because you can’t wait a couple days to get a $250 payment. I’m happy to know you’re living well, and let’s be honest, water from the source is FREE. Like air. You’re a man who will have to answer to God one day. And just remember never say never. I am also turning this over to the right place to review your rates and charges. My bill is way over charged. If I find out your overcharging me I’m joining these others and WILL be contacting the news and attorney general. I will be pressing charges to get money back for over charges.
