This is a great course. It's $8 plus tax, payable by cash or credit card via QR code at Hole 1. We came on a Tuesday and it wasn't crowded but my husband and I did let a few folks play through, mainly because I kept shanking discs right into the rough. It's not particularly technical, but is a true intermediate course because the rough is not forgiving. It's very well kept, and the tee pads are huge. Each tee pad has a trash and recycling can, cigarette ashtray, a bench, and a bag holder which was adorable and I had never seen before. Lots of elevation change here, but excellent signage, stairs, and bridges. The restroom near the first tee is maybe a single composting toilet that looked like a scene from Saw, so that was a hard no from me. Could use more portojohns. I've never preferred a portojohn over a permanent toilet, so that's saying something. Water refill near...
Read moreMy fave place to walk but after almost having 14 coyotes take my 14 pound dog and I out I have been a bit spooked. More so then when I had a darn cougar flipping out at me and I literally froze whilst talking to my brother shrieking, “omg!!! Come save me!!! You are my big brother and you are 5 minutes away!!!” At least while have coyotes chase me (I stupidly thought they were huskies being trained by a dude who works hunting dogs and I was totally annoyed he didn’t have any of them collared or tethered since they were destroying a turkey then…they saw my little chicken nugget shihzu-poodle and thought,”hmmm…less beak and feather!!!!🪶”
When I had 14 coyotes chasing me with their unmistakable conversing in coyote jargon I just shrieked and dragged my dog onto the parking lot of Wooddale church whilst old ladies just stared at me like I was a crazed blue light...
Read moreThe Bryant Lake Disc Golf course is absolutely epic! Each of the holes is incredible well maintained with cement tees and both long and short tees/baskets.
The topography and landscape varies dramatical creating for unique play on each hole as well as some truly stunning views. Hold 17 is absolutely epic as you drive off an 80 - 100 foot high cliff over the top of the trees and out onto a beautiful fairway. If you are newer to the game and playing with a friend, I recommend given each other a “spot” on this hole as a miss throw or gust of wind could carry your disc off somewhere where it’s hard to find.
Note, there is a $6 fee to play however, I recommend getting their season pass for $40 which also allows for unlimited play at the elm creek and highland disc...
