The woman who convinced me to come to this place ended up giving me a terrible experience from start to finish. Not only did she do a poor job, but she was so rough on my skin that she actually cut me right below my eye, which was both painful and upsetting. Just to be clear, I went in specifically because I wanted eyebrow microblading—not waxing—and I never asked for anything else. But before I could even process what was happening, she started waxing my eyebrows without asking for my permission or explaining why she was doing it. At first, I thought maybe this was just part of the microblading process, so I tried to trust her judgment, but then she suddenly announced that she was finished and told me to get up and pay.
Feeling confused and disappointed, I reminded her that I had come in for microblading, not waxing, and asked when we could start the actual procedure. She told me I’d have to book another appointment, this time at her house, if I wanted the microblading done, and then she rushed me out of the salon like she couldn’t wait to be rid of me. After all of this, they still charged me $45, which felt like a lot to pay for a service I didn’t want and results that left me feeling worse than when I arrived. I left the place assuming she’d at least follow up and set up the microblading appointment, but after that day, she stopped responding to my texts and completely disappeared. In the end, I was left with nothing to show for my time and money—big cut under my eye and a deep sense of disappointment .I would not recommend this place at all , aseptically with the service I received and how badly I was treat , all ...
Read moreCouple things about this review, I had two treatments done with my husband. The couples massage and the Japanese head spa. The couples massage is 10000/10. Their pressure was very good, they constantly checked in and made sure we were OK. The hot towel treatment was wonderful! We will be back Frequently! Just wish they actually did a full hour like we paid for. The Japanese head spa, 6/10. Maybe it was the person who did mine, but it was not what I expected and I was not impressed. They wash your hair, very thoroughly with the cool water tool, which felt really nice, but she did not check on the water temp or massage pressure whatsoever to make sure it was just right. She didn’t really massage my muscles, just my bones. I told her multiple times please use lighter pressure, she did not listen to me whatsoever. She did tell me that she didn’t speak very good English, so I think that’s where the barrier was. She also didn’t blow dry my hair all the way and didn’t rinse out all the product out of my hair so it was slightly crunchy. My husband’s person frequently checked in on him as well as the water temperature whereas mine did not. All in all 4/5, for sure coming back for the couples massage, not getting the head spa again nor would I...
Read moreI got the Japanese head massage on a Saturday morning and it was absolutely wonderful. I was a little bit worried because I did not know what to expect. The owner was a bit brusque when I scheduled the appointment but he was very friendly when I arrived at the spa. Overall, Nina was gentle and my scalp and skin feel amazing, and it's definitely with coming back for.
The spa is located in a strip mall near Optum and UHG. It's new, clean and well decorated.
After I checked in, the owner offered me tea. When Nina came and got me, they had me change my shoes into sandals. There is a bin to place dirty sandals when you leave.
In the spa room, Nina had me take my top off and put a towel around my torso. She started with massaging my dry scalp, then shampood it multiple times, and steamed it. Washed my face, put a mask on it, and even cleaned, massaged and applied hot towel treatment to my neck, arms, upper chest and upper back. Afterwards, she blow dried my hair.
Absolutely recommend...
