My family and I just had dinner there. We got jeera lassi drink, for breads we got garlic naan, tandoori roti, and lachha paratha. Main dishes we got were chettinad chicken, gongura mutton curry, and butter chicken. Of this we had never had jeera lassi, paratha, gongura mutton (have had gongura pickle) but we wanted to try them. Breads were all tasty too, my wife thought the paratha was too greasy (I did not think that) but it all was freshly made and piping hot! We enjoyed all the dishes very much and we will be back to explore more dishes.

My only negative comment is that the gongura was on the salty side, taking extra rice or bread with it helped even it out but that sour/tangy taste was still there so still enjoyed! Maybe that is a by-product of salted mutton, the sorrel leaf product, or a difference in salt levels. My Indian friends always tell me I need to add more salt when I have them try my homemade dishes.

I can't really say anything about the ambiance since it was late on a Sunday and we were the only ones there. However, I can definitely.speak about the food. The chicken appetizer looks amazing but, but the chicken was very tough and dry would not recommend. The flavor was rich and pleasant, if the chicken was better it would be amazing. The player was very well served and very tasty no complaints at all on that and would definitely recommend it. My friend got the chicken Tika Masala and it had a taste of cury that was great, definitely recommend that as well either their perfectly cooked rice. The people are nice and serviceable. I would recommend it for a good mom and pop...

I am a returning customer (after 5+ years) and the quality of food is still as good as it was when I had it at the first time. I love their tandoori items, esp tandoori chicken, it’s the best in Minneapolis 😊 Their biryani is good, I usually choose their goat biryani, which comes with enough protein which makes it value for money and the quantity is good. They have expanded the sitting area , which is great if you want to visit with a larger group. They stick to basics, so if you are looking for mind blowing ambience this may not be your go to place but if you are looking for super mouth watering food, dine in or take out, your choice but don’t miss their...
