Good afternoon, my name is Alexandra Marmolejo, I went shopping at the Cato's store today, with my daughter we were looking for dresses. I have shopped many of times there and have found beautiful store. Except today, I was humiliated, embarrassed and very unsatisfied with the professionalism your manager Elizabeth took up with us. The dress was tagged 19.99 she told my daughter it was priced incorrectly and that it was 34.99, I told she should honor the price the dress was marked at and she became upset and said NO! She would not . I asked for her supervisor she denied her supervisor said she was on vacation. I asked for Corporate office number she said she didn't have it all this with a bad attitude. She then gave me the number to Robstown store I called while I was speaking with Valerie she Elizabeth jept interrupting me and telling me she was not going to honor anything, and said that it was her store, her merchandise and she didn't care which I spoke to. I will admit I became irritate with her and raised my voice and told her I didn't care what she was saying to me. She did cause my blood pressure to go up! I spoke with Valerie who said she would get a hold of someone and call me back . While waiting for the call, your store manager was telling one of her customers of what was happening with us, I found that to be disrespectful and so unprofessional and so dissappointing. What I find reasonable and fair is I would like to purchase the dress at the price it was marked . because I feel that is false advertisement, deception to the customer. And she did ask for the other customers number to give a statement and I told her I did not appreciate her talking about me to the other customers she said she didn't and then said ok. We left with her telling us that she would call district manager and call us back. I will call tomorrow because at that she did not get my number but I have a picture of the dress. Read moreThey do have lots of styles to choose from but when it comes to customer service they are very lacking. I was standing at the register for 5 minutes with no one coming up. I saw a young girl putting away clothes and I called to her and she gave me eye contact as I said I'm ready to check out she continues to ignore me and keeps rearranging the clothes. I saw the manager at the front of the store and I walked to her to let her know and that is when the girl is at the register. She didn't bother coming up until she saw I was going towards the manager. I ended up leaving the garments I was going to buy and just left. I would rather go to Wal-Mart because they have better customer service and that's saying alot. Last time I'm shopping or referring this...
