My 1st time here! I was companied with my partner and daughter. The service was nice, attentive, helpful and professional. Drink station was clean, neat and organized. Wait time for food wasn’t long maybe 5- 10 min. I got the Hook and ladder, no onion, and provolone instead of Monterey Jack cheese, with the Mac and cheese drink combo. My meal was delicious, hot made the way I asked, the Mac was rich, creamy, and delicious. My partner got the Steak and cheese, no side with a drink, and daughter got a grilled cheese, rice crispy treat, and drink kids combo. Partner loved his sandwich. The cheese was nice and melty, the peppers were grilled nice and the steak was delicious. Daughter didn’t really like the grilled cheese, a bit dry and hard, could have used some butter or something else to soften up the bread. Single slice of cheese, but could have used extra cheese for cheese to bread ratio, she ended up just eating my Mac and cheese, she loved it though, ate the whole thing! So Mac and cheese is definitely kid approved. Lol My partner and I will definitely be back. This is my first time trying out Firehouse subs, I had already looked at the menu on line, so I kind of knew what I was going to order. My son wanted the meatball sub and I wanted either the Tuna or the Turkey Bacon Ranch. I asked the young man taking my order about the Turkey and the Tuna they used, he recommended the Turkey Bacon Ranch. My son really liked his, it consisted of meatballs, marinara sauce and provalone cheese with what appears to be a herb sprinkle on top, he opted for the white roll which is cut down the center of the top of the roll, and makes for a nice presentation to the sub. I enjoyed mine which comes with turkey, bacon, ranch,cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. I opted for the wheat roll which was cut traditionally across the side. Honestly, I would of liked to have seen more bacon, only because the strips are so thin you can barely taste them in the sub. I recommend Firehouse subs not only because everything was fresh and tasted good, but I was also impressed by how heavy the bag was. The sheer weight of the bag already spoke to me, telling me the sandwiches were loaded, I just wished they loaded it with more bacon. We have always have like to buy subs there,but we shop today and we were disappointed. We brought a large club on the sub, no onion, no lettice and not to toast the bread. I heard when the gentleman in the register telling the guy who prepared it not to toast the bread. When we got the order, we checked it and the bread was toasted. We took it back and kindly I told the guy on the register that the bread was toasted and he turn to the guy and said I told you not to toast the bread. Then turn to me and apologize and said I'm going to give you another which they did. We thought for sure it would be right this time, we'll they put onions and lettce on it. I know it was the same guy who did it. Either this guy was not paying attention to what it's beening ask for or did it on purpose. Very disappointed! Also I have to mention that your store was very dirty. There was trash all over the floor. It made the store look trashy. My husband went to the restroom and said it was very dirty.
