I am currently in the home building process. My builder recommended that I go and look at some lights at Lifestyles. I have also experienced what several other customers have mentioned about not being acknowledged. My specific complaint took place on May 3, 2019. I have been working with my sales person, Leslie. She had been working with me on several different items that she had prepared quotes from items that were on my wish list. We had even begun an email conversation on other lights that I had found on their website. I asked her to provide a quote for these items. She provided a quote and I told her that I would make a decision and I would be contacting her back. I decided to go into the store to make my purchases for six lights. When it came time to purchase these lights, she stated that the quote that she had given me was incorrect. She stated that the lights in question would be at least $20 more. I asked since this was a quote given by her, will they not honor it? She said let me go and speak with my manager. Upon her return, she told me that her manager would not honor the price that was quoted by Leslie. I also wouldâve thought the manager wouldâve come over and explained it to me as well.    Read moreIn the process of remodeling a couple of lights in our home and after googling light warehouses close to my area, this location came up. So I decided to stop by and see what they had to offer, and I can say it was so many different styles that I hadn't seen in other stores that I've visited. Once walking in, I was not greeted, and that was ok with me being this was my first time here. I wanted to look around first before being bombarded with a salesperson asking what am I looking for. Strolling halfway through the right side of the sales floor, gazing over their merchandise, someone did come up and asked if we needed some help; we told them no, and they did offer us to find a salesperson when we did need assistance. We finally saw enough of the store and had some questions, and that's when saleslady S (sorry, I do not remember her name, but I do know her desk is located in the back, right by the doorknobs) she answered our questions regarding polish brass and brushed nickel and also, took us to there touchscreen kiosk that gave more options. The layout was excellent and bright, and many lights on the sales floor were on sale. We didn't make a purchase here, but it gave us a better idea of what direction we wanted to take...
   Read moreI shared a very negative review here earlier and it had apparently been removed. So instead of going into the same level of detail, just suffice it to say that I had a VERY negative experience here. I would recommend you go ANYWHERE OTHER than Lifestyles!!!
I suspect there are other negative reviews that they are somehow removing. Read the negative reviews that are shown here and know that other negative reviews are being removed.
UPDATE: In response to the Lifestyles comment, I am posting THE document my wife signed. If you zoom in, about 3/4 of the way down the document (the last 3-4 line paragraph) you will see where it says the 50% restocking fee will be applied only if it has âbeen installed or removed from its original packagingâ.
Of course I showed this to the two ladies I spoke with in the store and they said it didnât matter and refused to give me a full refund. Iâm seriously thinking about taking this to the attention of the BBB (filing a BBB complaint) and if they donât resolve it, then the CFPB. This is wrong and this store simply does not care about...
