Had never had any issues at this store but today was the exception i decided to walk in really fast to get some balloons and my son had some balls we had purchased at another store which i clearly know dollar tree does not sell at least not exactly these kind and once i hit the register i get told to put everything on the register to pay for it which ok i understand it was literally a table balloon and a pack of small toys but it was said in a rude way i then get questioned about my sons balls he literally walked in with and i told the cashier he got them elsewhere well after paying the cashier still asks a poor cashier thats behind her not even knowing whats going on if they sell those balls there which made me upset because first of all you work there you know the stuff you sell its not a big store and im sure you know the merch you get delivered ive worked at bigger stores and know the type of stuff that is sold so again i proceeded to tell her i purchased them at tjmaxx to which she replied im just asking..i understand people steal stuff but im not going to walk into a store stealing 3 huge balls and trying to walk out with them unnoticed through the register where im paying..i guess point is i dont think its ok to basically accuse people of stealing or trying to steal like im supposed to walk into a store with a recipt for everything my kids walk into the...
Read moreI had a horrible experience, at this store. For some reason they are short on employees, because when a customer came in to buy some balloons, the cashier lady had to go and inflate them herself. This left the line unattended and waiting for her to return. I only had to buy one bottle of shampoo, so I asked if she could ring me up first because I was in a hurry, and I only had one item. The cashier responded with, "Can't you see I'm busy with another customer?" Of course, this was said with no small amount of attitude. I didn't say anything back, and decided to leave so that I can buy it elsewhere. On my way out, the lady calls out in the most sarcastic tone, "Bye! If you are in such a hurry then don't return!" What kind of customer service is this? If she was too busy, then that's fine, it's not her fault the company doesn't hire enough employees, but why did she need to be so rude for a simple question? Not only that, but she went out of her way to be so condescending when I was already on the way out. I regret not being able to catch the employees name, but I had no desire to stay...
