Make sure you download CBP Border Wait Times app on your phone. It was quite accurate on our experience. And obviously there are always unexpected things that can happen at the border. For us it took us 1 hour to cross into the U.S. the app estimated about 50 minutes. Not too bad. Crossing from El Paso to Juarez, Mexico. There are three ways to cross driving. Our friends took us through the entrance where we paid. The other two entrances are free, but are also a lot busier. We paid almost $2 (Dollars) each way, so about $4 (Dollars) round trip. Well worth the money.

Remember boys and girls this is outbound foot traffic only . I walked over the bridge and returned midway only to be greeted by CBP who were very nice and explained I had to re enter thru the Paso de Norte bridge. Only in America can a American be refused entry 😂
