Mercado Paisano — Local services in El Paso

I went to this market looking for a gift for a friend, and went into the biggest store with beautiful Mexican things. As I looked around I noticed not one item had a price, and theref are many many things in that store so I asked. The price seemed so high so I asked for the price of a Baja because I’ve just purchased one in Sedona AZ in a tourist store and I wanted to get my bearings. He asked nearly double the price. Then he told me all the Americans just want to bargain, but not in a nice way. The fact is I hate bargaining but his merchandise has no prices and it seems very evident that his price varies depending on the customer.
