Buyer BEWARE. An absolutely bewildering experience dealing with Simple Cell through their eBay page. I purchased a Zagg screen protector specifically for an iPad Air. The title and description were labeled as such in the listing. When I received it in the mail, I received a screen protector for the iPad Pro model. In an attempt to remediate this, I messaged them asking for guidance. They advised to put it on and try it out for fitment. It's not a 100% exact fit, and after reaching out to Zagg themselves I learned that they do make separate screen protectors for the iPad Air and iPad Pro as there are slight differences between the two models. There is a gap in coverage as the screen protector does not cover the entire iPad. After communicating this with Simple Cell and providing pictures, they told me that the gap I am seeing that the screen protector is not covering is normal. They failed to address the fact they sent me a screen protector for a different model iPad. I have put on a fair share of screen protectors before and have never encountered a gap in screen coverage like this. This is all attributed to the fact that I was sent a screen protector for the incorrect model iPad. The seller denied my return and threatened to report me to eBay if I left negative feedback. For a company that claims to be in business for 25 years, it is absolutely shocking and VERY disappointing to be disregarded as a customer when they were the ones that sent me an incorrect product. The type of feedback/professionalism you see from the "owner" of this Google page is NOT the type of customer service you see on their eBay page. They were not apologetic, very short with me and disregarded my concerns. It is in my belief that they send out products that may or may not fit your device, but hope that you do not notice if that product is actually intended for a different device. It is beyond my understanding why they would deny a return for a product that clearly isn't intended/labeled for my device. The listing was for an iPad Air, what I received was for an iPad Pro. Should have been a very simple dispute to resolve but they made it extremely difficult to deal with, denied any wrongdoing and are not willing to...
Read moreThis company was deceptive in selling a phone on Ebay to me. I paid a premium for a new phone. Got their "new" phone only to be told by Sprint (my carrier) that the phone was previously registered to someone else. Why they returned it is unknown to me. All I know is that I like Ebay and have had nothing but favorable experiences with company's that have favorable ratings. THIS IS THE EXCEPTION! I asked them to send me a new phone that met Ebay's definition of "new" ("New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item in its original packaging ...Packaging should be the same as what is found in a retail store."). I also suggested that they pay me the difference between what they charged me for a new phone, and what a used one would sell for (roughly $100 difference). They refused. They want the phone back and refund me my money. Given their history with this phone, I seriously believe that the phone would be put on the market again and sold as "new" to some unsuspecting consumer. I will deal with them with complaints on Ebay, and have already filed a complaint with the BBB in Maryland. I am very happy to tell anyone my story and can have you verify it by checking Simple Cell's Ebay ratings to find my complaint, or to see the outcome of my BBB complaint. Unless consumers hold company's to task for deceptive trade practices, they will continue to get away with deceiving new customers into...
Read moreI went to fix the screen of my son's tablet which cost me about $95 only to receive the tablet and its start switching off without notice. I went to fix a screen and came back with battery issues. How that happened is beyond my comprehension. I took it back to call their notice to it and the receptionist acknowledged it was an issue from their side because she tried to charge it and noticed the battery was dropping instead of moving up. She admitted they would fix it and she mentioned she has ordered the product for it to be fixed and asked I bring it back for them to fix it the following Monday. Unfortunately, it was the week when we had snow showers which delayed the fixing. I took the tab back to them based on our previous agreement and she called back to say it's now a battery problem and no longer a problem for the to fix. She was asking I pay another $65 to fix a battery that was perfectly working before I took it to them to fix the screen. My son's tablet would work till 1% and give battery low notice before going off but after having simple cell mobile fix the screen, it would go off at anytime while watching and it drains out quickly as possible and also takes too long to charge. I am really really...
