This place was a much needed idea in South Carroll - an ice cream place with ample outdoor seating, grass, and a place for the kids to move around and the community to come together.
My family went today for the grand opening event. We ordered ice cream and sodas (the kinds in the glass bottle made with cane sugar). Everyone was happy with their treats and we were given an on the house kid scoop with our order. The kids had amble ice cream at minimal cost.
There was a tattoo station, a henna station, face painting, lawn connect four, bubbles to make the size of the moon, plenty of picnic tables, shade, sun and fun. Parking is plentiful too. We stayed a couple hours and everyone had a great time.

The set of co-owners we met, who live in the nearby Eldersburg neighborhood of Edgewood, were incredibly friendly and engaging. We also loved seeing high school kids enjoying the outdoor space, playing games like corn hole and enjoying their ice cream under the twinkling lights. Read moreThe ice cream is better than any in Eldersburg and Sykesville. I have always loved Firehouse on Main Street in Sykesville because they have coconut ice cream. But here is equally delicious and you get a bigger scoop. They also have a cappuccino crunch with Heath bars in it and OMG it’s so so good. It’s an ice cream food truck so no indoor service, but there is ample outdoor seating. Games provided too; a huge connect four, Jenga, that game where you throw beanbags into the holes on the board (can’t remember the name).
