Giving only 2 stars due to the lady that answers the phone and works the front area of this business establishment. She is rude and makes unnecessary comments. She made me feel unwelcomed. When I called to check the status of my ring she made me feel like I was a bother to her. When I went to drop off my ring it was 10 minutes before closing (5pm). I called to let her know I was outside just to drop off my ring and she said “ma’am we close in 10 minutes” and hung up. I had to go back the next day. I should’ve just went somewhere else at that point. But I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. Two and half weeks later I called to check on my ring for pick up and she told me to come the next day after 11am. I did and it wasn’t ready. And she proceeded to tell me in a very rude tone that if they haven’t called me -it’s not ready. I then told her I called the previous day and she told me to come then. She did apologize and said to come back the next day after 11am. So, of course, I called the next day before driving there to make sure it was ready. She had the audacity to say I told you it would be ready today, yesterday. She is just rude and needs better people skills. This is very unfortunate because Mr. Howle himself is very friendly and welcoming. And he did a great job resizing my ring and explaining everything to me. But dealing with that lady is not worth me ever doing business with...
   Read moreFirst impressions are everything!
Initially, I called and the man I spoke with was pleasant and informed me to come in to get a quote and they would be open to 5.
Upon arriving at 3:45pm the door was locked, which I was a little confused by since they are open until 5pm but later found out that could be for safety reasons. I pushed what seemed to be a door bell. There was a buzzing noise when I pushed the doorbell but I wasn’t sure what it was so I stepped back and waited since I noticed a lady getting up from her desk.
When she opened the door she says “The door doesn’t open by itself” I was immediately taken back by that greeting, but soon realized the buzzing was her releasing the lock on the door. I tell her “This is my first time here and the door was initially locked so I was not aware” she made a face but seemed to be very irritated that she had to get up from her desk to open the door.
We proceeded as normal but she was not very welcoming and her attitude did not get any better from there so I did not get my necklaces fixed at this business. Which is quite unfortunate because of all the great reviews.
What is probably a misunderstanding could have been fixed if she had better customer...
Read moreWhere do I begin? This man aided me beyond beilief in my time of need. He took my budget and sat down with me and took the time to teach me about diamonds. No, I'm not referring to that "teaching" the people at large jeweler 'X' pitch you when you first walk in. Robert went into the details explaining to me about the different kinds of diamonds (natural, lab grown, clarity enhanced), the importance of the 4Cs, and how jewelers actually value each individual diamond. At first, it was a lot to take in, but he told me to go out and find something I wanted online or at any other jeweler while he ordered some diamonds to show me. (He does not keep diamonds in store) In that week, I compared prices everywhere and his quoted prices seemed just a fair amount better. The following week he followed up with me and showed me my ideal diamond. It was under budget and it met all our 4C goals. I bought the diamond and he resized the ring I bought and did all the magic polishing and setting of the diamond for no additional costs.
TL:DR; Want a diamond or jewelry? Want to make sure you get the best bang for your buck? Or do you want a truly cutom piece of jewlery? See this man first and you won't be...
