Seemed like a nice store right up until the owner. As a former retail employee and manager, it is about making your customers feel welcome. This was not the case. I was completely ignored for the ONE other customer in the store, not so much as a hello, despite trying to become part of the conversation. The only attention given was to “on no no” at my 2 yr old. I was right there with her and quickly stopped her before any harm done. Going in I was going to suggest my husband do his Christmas shopping for me here. This place is absolutely awesome. The lady who owns it is super sweet, and very passionate about her craft. They offer a variety of classes for all levels of experience. I recently went to a "Get to Know your Machine" class and the teacher, Donna, was excellent. They don't sell the machines themselves, but they do sell bobbins, thread, fabric, and smaller tools needed for a variety of sewing crafts. She even sells pattern kits and things. I got the info from a gal that I work with, had a great interaction! I talked to her about a quilt i made for a friend, but ended up sending in a different one some time later. Lisa was so understanding and sweet despite my miscommunication. She did a BEAUTIFUL job on the quilt I did send in and sent me progress reports along the way.
