I like Martin's. The quality of the meat is good. I have something to say and it happened about 2 to 3 months ago. Some time you have to get both point of views. My Daughter in l was in Martin shopping and she thought it has been awhile since she had some wine so l said buy it. We go to the Cashier and she ask for her ID. l had my ID my Daughter did not so l said let me buy it the young lady said we need her ID l said she don't have it my Daughter in law said l am her daughter she can pay for it. Now this is the part l missed out on. she told my Daughter in law that she does not look like me so she could not be related to me. She is white l am black but she my Daughter. That caused a big problem because my Daughter came home very upset and told my son who is her husband about the whole situation. You don't say things like that she is married to my son there fore she is my Daughter. The Cashier was wrong not about the ID's but telling my Daughter that she was not my Daughter. You should gets a better understanding first before you write that big Green sign on your door. Your Cashier spoke too fast that was not good. Do you know the percentage of mix families. In my family we are we have no color issues because my grand children, neices, aunties, nephews they are all mix. What about Adoption. We except each other. What she said was not good....

I've been shopping at this location for years and lately I have no idea what has happened with the customer service. I try to go early in the morning due to crowds and the onslaught of lines; however, even when I do that - the employees seem that it's too much when I ask for an item in the cold deli and the meat counter. I try to even wait until they are done with what they are working on, but still I get attitude. I get working long hours in customer service - I do it too, but if that is the type of attitude you are putting out, expect it back. The checkouts arent better - I have people commenting on the food I'm buying along with the attitude that they dont want to be doing the cashier part of working there. I get it - we are ALL tired, we are ALL stressed - but if you dont like the line of work you are in; look for something else then. I dont pay the uptick in prices (yes, inflation) to get an attitude...
Read moreHonestly for a first time going to the store I was unimpressed. The store seems highly priced but outside of that the customer service was awful. While looking at items in the meat department and employee just pointed to try and get myself and my cart of children to move from what we were looking at instead of asking for us to move or going through a different section. I went to go to the bathroom a little later in our visit and the same employee as above was rude again. The bathroom did not have a closed sign posted anywhere. I walked into the bathroom to get sick because I'm a pregnant mom in my first trimester and that just happens. He barged into the women's bathroom shouting no and insisted I leave immediately. I said there wasn't a closed sign and he promptly told me he knew and it didn't matter. Not only is this beyond rude but he came unannounced into a WOMENS bathroom. Again the selection was good just highly priced but the customer service...
