Enchanted Forest Shopping Center — Local services in Ellicott City

My first time ever shopping at this store. I was looking for milk for my 12 months old grandchild. The lady stocking shelves was ok. I asked her for assistance . She pointed in the direction; after I apologized for bothering her. I stopped at the customer service desk. I waited exactly 5 minutes for someone to assist me. I saw an employee walking towards me. I asked if he could call someone to assist me; he did. The CS representative didn't want to help me with playing my lottery ticket. She directed me to a machine by the exit door. She assisted another customer instead. I explained that it was my first time. I don't know how to use a machine. There were no others in...

The shopping center is the former location of the Enchanted Forest amusement park. The only vestiges of its former life are Old King Cole pointing to the shopping center and a plaque at the place where the castle entrance once stood. The shopping center has a Safeway, a wine store, a party supply store, and a couple of restaurants. (I found the bagel place there to be very good at an affordable price.) It's a good place for the locals. If you only care about the Enchanted Forest, I would recommend going to Clark's Elioak Farm instead because that is where you'll find the old Enchanted Forest attractions that were...

It's a shopping center, not much more can be said. Large Safeway and a Pepco serve as the main draws. Difficult to get into and out of due to strange road configuration and lights. But several good restaurants, such as Ernesto's and Sakura Tokyo, and a White Oak Tavern. Small auxiliary Post Office, a liquor store, karate school, realtors, a bank, a day care, and some smaller places, such as a Weight Watchers storefront.
