China Taste — Restaurant in Ellicott City

I was looking for a place to eat some good Chinese food my girlfriend told me that all the Chinese places around her was trash. After about a solid hour of looking at different places reading thousands of reviews I came here China Taste the food came out pretty quick 15-20minutes the staff was very nice and respectful. Being black sometimes you can get the wrong vibe really fast. I purchased the white meat for a $1 more I've seen higher end places go as far as even $3 this was good value. Something to note about the pictures the food seems a bit brighter than it really is it could be the lights in the kitchen. I gotta be honest I've eaten at hundreds of Chinese places I would not say this is the very best as many have claimed. However I would say it's somewhere in the middle for me. However alot of people will say this it's great my girlfriend loved it. This may seem silly but typically when you spend 30+ you get some type of free egg rolls at alot of carry-out places. Food allergic customers beware! Three of us dined in the restaurant for dinner. I ordered pad thai with chicken, and it was delivered to our table in about 15 minutes. My pad thai had chicken AND shrimp in it, so I took it up to the counter and asked for what I had originally ordered. They tried to get me to eat it as made, but I insisted I did not want shrimp. She then asked if I couldn't eat shellfish and I said yes, because I didn't want them just to pick the shrimp out and give me the same order. They took it back, and I had a "remade" order in 5 minutes or so. My food tasted a little fishy, but I ignored it because I thought no one would be careless enough to serve food that once had shrimp in it to a person who could not have shellfish. This was our fav spot for Chinese food. Today I beyond disappointed. They showed a lack of regard for their customers. I ordered honey sesame chicken ( which is usually a house favorite) when I arrived they accidentally had me down for general’s tso chicken. I was understanding and patient. Told them I didn’t mind waiting. (They took my order back to correct it and I’m pretty sure they just took the prepared general tso chicken and watered it down and sprinkled sesame seeds on it. )They said they corrected the order and I paid and drove home. When I got home it was not their typical honey sesame chicken it was general Tso chicken that had been watered down and they sprinkled a bunch of sesame seeds on top. It was not edible.
