A Cheerful Giver — Local services in Elmer

I purchased two of their pumpkin pie papa jar candles and they were both defective. They didn't burn evenly and I was left with two candles that were full of wax. I spent over 70.00 on them and one was even a gift for my elderly Mom. I contacted the company and the owner Tony Gross and their customer service was awful. After I called them out on their incompetence, not only did Tony verbally attack me personally over the phone, which was very unprofessional for a business owner to become so unhinged over a complaint but he didn't refund my money or replace the product which I feel is breach of their guarantee. Which I will pursue with the consumer protection agency. This is one of the most horrible online retail experiences I have ever been through. I would caution any consumer thinking of doing business with them....

I honestly do NOT want to leave this review, but I feel it is necessary due to our experiences with Tony, the owner of this business. We found Tony, the owner, to be extremely rude, extremely demanding and very arrogant in all of our dealings with him. He was belittling, insulting and the farthest thing from Cheerful. The Keepers of the Light are my favorite candles. Some of my favorite scents are Juicy Apple, Cranberry Orange, Cinnamon Twist and Mango Tango. They burn great and the scent remains until the very end. My favorite part of this company is that they employ adults with disabilities.
