I really wanted to enjoy this shop and leave a stellar review, but unfortunately I cannot honestly do that for a number of reasons. I went in thinking this coffee shop would be warm, welcoming and enjoyable, but to my surprise, it was the opposite. The employees seemed stressed out and uninviting. I understand coffee shops get busy on weekend mornings, but if the employees are clearly overwhelmed, and it’s reflecting in their customer service, more staff members need to be hired. Additionally, the staff refused to let my 3 year old toddler use the bathroom resulting in her peeing on the curb outside. I was told there was no public restroom and to walk to the local church. They expected a 3 year old toddler to hold their bladder…. All while there is a bathroom on the premises? Extremely rude and unprofessional. Would the staff/owners appreciate their child being treated that way? I wasn’t asking to use the bathroom myself, but for a toddler about to have an accident. Not to mention, my family spent over $40 in drinks and food, and you can’t let a toddler use the bathroom? After the unacceptable bathroom incident, about 5-10min after we paid for our order, we come back in after having to clean my toddler up at the car, only to find out the vanilla donut we purchased was then sold and given to another customer who ordered 5-10 min AFTER we ordered and paid. At this point the donuts were sold out, and my toddler was left with nothing. The staff did offer a chocolate brownie or cinnamon donut, and I did choose the cinnamon donut twist for her, but unfortunately it was a waste of money as she didn’t like it…. Hence the reason I ordered the vanilla donut. The baked goods selection was unfortunately slim and even the coffees seemed rushed and sloppy. There was no cereal topping on the one drink, and the other lacked blueberry purĆ©e. The sandwiches were okay, but bagel options were few and far between. We drove over an hour to this establishment on the way to the beach, and left extremely disappointed. For a business claiming to be inclusive, and marketing off diversity and acceptance, the staff surely lacked what it takes to execute the shop’s...

It was a bit early for a showing in Pittsgrove so I decided to stop somewhere new for coffee (shocking, I know).

The Inclusion Coffee Shop had such an inviting curb appeal with the quaint covered porch and all, I had to give it a try.

I never remembered it being in Elmer before and learned that they have just recently celebrated their one year anniversary(opened in April 2022). The owner has a child with Down syndrome, and one of their employees has Down syndrome. As a former special education teacher, I absolutely love this concept!

Now on to reviewing the coffee and the food. The coffee was very good and supplied by Green Mountain coffee. I tried the Island Coconut on tap. I would definitely have it again if available. Everything else they sell is provided by local merchants. Their baked goods selection of the day came from Blackbird Bakery. The bagels are baked fresh and come from Glassboro Bagels. They looked really good, but I could not tear my eyes away from the Lemon Blueberry Blondie that was presented on top of the glass display. The barista told me it was also gluten-free. Such a wonderful option for those who need it. You would never know it if you tasted it. It was so, so good! My mouth waters all over again just looking at the pic I took before taking a bite.

I sat at a little table in the front window. It was quite busy but quiet. Lots of regulars came through as well as a couple newbies like myself.

If you are ever in the Elmer area, check the Inclusion Coffee Shop out. There are so many food options from sweet to savory and the coffee is delicious. I’m actually in that area quite often, so next time it...

Cute little, truly small town cafe where the local customers in the front of the place will chat you up while you're in line or waiting for your item. This place is an oasis in the middle of a good coffee desert. If we had been in the mood for dessert or sweets, the cinnamon rolls and other baked items in the case looked absolutely amazing.

We ordered lattes, and this is our only complaint for the place, but $7.00 each is way overpriced, and maybe it's our fault but we didn't see that price clearly displayed. Lattes are very good, high end coffee places in even big expensive cities all over the U.S. are $5.00-$6.00 max, with the upper end usually being because you got two extra espresso shots. So, $7 was a bit of a shock, and is more than should be being charged. This isn't single origin Ethiopian coffee beans, etc. Having said that, while it was a better than average latte.

The one really nice aspect of this place was they also have at least one special needs person working there, which is fantastic, we loved that part, and he was customer facing, very engaging and it warmed our heart that the business makes him an important part of...

Today was the first time I visited and tried Inclusion Coffee & breakfast treats. I have to begin by expressing gratitude to Amanda, Natalia and Anthony, they welcomed us with a smile and a good morning. Brenna, a beautiful lady I support loved today’s visit, she tried their St. Patrick’s hot drink ( can’t remember the fancy name) I had my coffee with milk and French vanilla (I prefer to remain simple). However, they have a lot of flavors and will do their best to customize what you like. The place was beautiful, friendly and smelled delicious. We will definitely go back for our Saturday morning coffee and breakfast 😊

This local coffee shop in the heart of Elmer is a must go if you’re heading down route 40 or in the Pittsgrove area. The shop is really cute on the inside with a led sign and a faux greenery wall and comfy chairs. They also have a book bin outside that’s like a little library. I tried their Cinnamon Toast Crunch iced latte and it was not bitter at all and had the perfect amount of sweetness.
