Oriental Garden Express — Restaurant in Enid

I don't even know where to begin. We stopped here today to grab lunch. What we should have grabbed were barf bags. This is, without a doubt, the worst Chinese food I have ever encountered. My sister ordered beef and broccoli, which consisted of unflavored boiled beef and uncooked broccoli. No sauce at all. The almond chicken was large, gristly pieces of dark meat chicken, and giant pieces of celery. No sauce here, either. I ordered mushroom chicken. Again, gristly chicken and two pieces of mushroom. You guessed it. No sauce. I also asked for General's chicken. (Not General Tso's) It was the only partially edible thing either of us had. Although it was coated in some kind of red sauce, which I had never seen before. We both had lo mein, which had no sauce either. And, no vegetables. And, no flavor. If there were a way to give them less than one star, I most certainly would. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Not if you like...

Good Chinese food. Had lo mein, and it was good. The biggest problems are the menu, language barrier, and ordering. It's hard to understand the menu, and just get one thing. The lo mein we ended up with was just plain noodles. So, make sure when asking for plain you get vegetables or whatever you may want. The egg rolls are what are considered spring rolls in most places. I will be back again and will get the menu and items figured out. The noodles were delicious, but just had sweet and sour sauce, and soy sauce on them. Fresh was the biggest reward. I like my Asian food place with Asian speakers. As to it's a sign of true nationality. Same as Mexican, and so forth. Yet that was the biggest barrier in getting what we got...

The inside of the restaurant seemed a bit dingy. I had to wait at the counter for several minutes while the lady behind the counter looked like she was doing her bills. She finally asked me what I would like and then started dishing up food that was not what I had ordered. It turned out that she was getting food for someone in the drive through and then started on my order.

I got the food to go and took it back to my hotel. I order the Orange Chicken & Fried Rice. The food was delicious. The Orange chicken had plenty of flavor and the chicken was very tender. The fried rice was also very good. I would get food from this...
