I have not had my hair cut by anyone but myself in 17 years. I went in, nervous, not really knowing what I should even do for my style. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Ms Deborah, and I was hit by a very relaxing atmosphere. When I tell you that the time I spent in her chair was one of THE MOST relaxing hours of my life, I'm not exaggerating. I was so relaxed I couldn't even feel my hands and started to drift off. I knew she was having a blast when she asked if she could do my eyebrows on top of my hairdo, and I let her have free reign because she earned my trust almost immediately. I can honestly say that she has flipped the script for me on male grooming.

Cute shop. Walked in looking for the shop's namesake for his years of expertise, but he wasn't there. Later found out he passed away a year ago and that the new owner is his son. Who, when I walked in, immediately directed me to the only woman in the shop, who was out front when I walked up and was still on break as he suggested she cut for me. Boo already. Long story embarrassingly short, I wanted something long enough for a pixie but got a buzz cut that I can do absolutely nothing with. I've ordered a wig. Cute shop. But like the sign on their wall says, "Good hair cuts aren't cheap, and cheap haircuts aren't good." Where do I even start??? Great atmosphere, VERY clean inside, nice decor, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've got a fairly long mullet that hadn't been trimmed in probably 5 months, so needless to say it was looking a bit shabby. Deborah sat me down in the chair, made me feel comfortable, and proceeded to give me the SLICKEST mullet you ever did see! She knew exactly what to do, buzz the sides, feather the top, don't molest the hang time. She finished off with a hot towel and a short neck massage.
