If you want fresh seafood in this part of town to the Pace bridge, then this is the only place to go. The price is reasonable for the food you get. The prices are not so reasonable that you would expect plastic, baskets, and styrofoam, and placing your order at the counter, but this is what you get. In the not so distant past, the prices were much lower and the service and place settings were like that of a typical restaurant. More disappointing now is the sign menu which is, though very attractive, woefully incomplete. If you want something that you do not see, then ask and they probably still have it. Because the market is associated with Joe Patti, I would expect the food to be very fresh, though I have not made purchases of uncooked seafood from this location. Pensacola does not have, and has never had a great seafood restaurant at any price, to me. There are other restaurants that prepare seafood better than this restaurant, but their fish is not as fresh. I know for sure that Joe Patti's market downtown has great, fresh seafood. So if you want to cook it yourself at home, then in that way you can have great seafood...
Read moreFirst of all I get there and I'm told they don't accept credit cards of any type anymore because the fees were too high. Hmmm in this day and age to not accept credit cards is absolutely appalling and ridiculous every business has to pay credit card fees you should try looking for a new Merchant who can save you a little bit of money but it's for convenience to your customers to be able to pay with a card which is what most people carry rather than cash. Secondly I order the fried mullet which I expected to be fresh since they are also a seafood market selling fresh seafood and the same building as the restaurant but what I got was not fresh it was very fishy tasting little strips of pre breaded fish and it was disgusting the cocktail sauce tasted like rancid tuna fish out of a can. I am severely disappointed and surprised that this restaurant thinks it's okay to serve people low quality food and advertise freshness I won't be back. I noticed you only reply to the good reviews so A little advice. The way the owners reply to the bad reviews as well as the good is a big factor in your...
Read moreTried ordering food to go today. They were extremely busy, but it doesn't excuse the poor customer service "offered" by Brooke, who barely acknowledged my presence before walking off. Seth finally took my order and I was told it'd be about 15 minutes. Thirty minutes into my wait, I watch on older customer get her order to go before me. Questioning this I'm told by Brooke that she called her order in; that's it, no follow up, doesn't ask about my order. Seth, good guy, comes back and is surprised I haven't gotten my order. I finally give up and ask Brooke for a refund; she proceeds to help someone else first before finally helping me. She half heartedly apologies, but only because her boss is at the register with her. No one offered anything for the waste of my time or Brooke's horrible...
