I donât usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share this oneâespecially considering the date. I visited the new Wallflower dispensary location yesterday, excited to check it out on what is arguably the biggest cannabis holiday of the year: 4/20. I walked in around 4:10 PM, full of good energy, ready to celebrate, support a new local shop, and stock up.
Unfortunately, I left feeling 1000% disappointed.
Let me start with the one bright spotâthe budtender who helped me was very nice. Polite, welcoming, and doing his best. But even that part had its own hiccup: when I was ready to check out, I found out he hadnât even signed in yet, so I had to wait around for a few extra minutes just to complete my purchase. Not the worst thing in the world, but a weird vibe on a day thatâs usually full of excitement and celebration.
Now to the real letdown:
⢠No 4/20 discount. None. Not even a mention of a deal or promotion. I get itâmaybe they had limited promos and maybe I was too late. But it wasnât like I came at midnightâI came ten minutes before 4:20 PM. Peak hour. ⢠No first-time customer love. I wasnât expecting fireworks, but at a new location, on my first visit, on 4/20, youâd think thereâd be somethingâeven a heads-up about the dayâs deals or a simple welcome gift. Nothing. ⢠No vibe. Honestly, it just didnât feel like 4/20 in there. No energy, no buzz, no celebration. It felt sterileâlike a high-end store that forgot what the culture is about.
I did end up buying some purple Indo Tabs just to keep the celebration going personally, but I walked out with way less than I had intended. And honestly, I left feeling a little unappreciated.
Whatâs wild is that Iâve been to the original Wallflower on Blue Diamond, and I loved it. That place felt authentic and welcoming. This new location, while closer to home, wonât be getting a return visit from me unless something really changes.
If youâre going to open a new dispensary, especially one thatâs supposed to be community-focused and modern, 420 should be your Super Bowl. This felt like a preseason scrimmage at a MedMen, and we know how...

I've had multiple issues with pre-ordering. I've placed orders for high-THC products (over 30% or 37% as advertised) only to have them sold to other customers, despite my order being placed. It's frustrating to know an item is reserved for you, only for it to be sold to someone else. Another major issue is the lack of product availability. I've seen great new products appear on the menu, only to find out that employees have bought them in bulk, leaving nothing for regular customers. This feels unfair and is a big reason I've started taking my business elsewhere. The atmosphere and product selection just don't measure up to the Blue Diamond location. On top of that, the customer service, both in person and on the phone, is lacking and has been a big turn-off. Homie Andre had nobody there and nothing else to do but came out to hang signal us to move our car even though there was no other cars there and our order was being placed. We move back a spot to get out of curbside parking and immediately placed our order to go back to the same empty spot. Same guy came out trying to be nice probably to get a tip.
