Towne Theatre — Local services in Ephraim

I take my little sister to see movies all the time at these theaters and the ladies who work there and serve you popcorn are all super sweet and friendly but tonight i had a bit of a problem, i showed up about 15 minutes before they opened due to traveling and deer i wanted to make sure i had enough time and got there safely, the older man working there opened the door and treated me like i was some sort of thug, he had a really condescending tone when he asked me what we needed, i explained the mix up and was just curious of the time and when they opened and though he had his phone with him he acted like we were a neussence and told us they wont open for about another 10 minutes.... All of which he said would have been fine and my sister and i had no problem waiting but it was just the manner of the man that really soured me if i normally don't leave harsh reviews but this one soured me a bit and if it wasn't for me wanting my sister to have a fun time i would have confronted him about his attitude... Anyhow great...

Had an awful experience with this theater. The staff was very rude. We stopped by 30 minutes before an advertised showing and the doors where locked. My husband saw someone inside vacuuming so he tapped on the window. The lady looked up rolled her eyes and continued vacuuming leaving my husband standing outside in the cold for 5 minutes after seeing he was there. Then she told us we couldn't buy tickets yet and that the movie we wished to see wouldn't come to the theater until the next day. Later that night we drove by and the movie was in the theater. don't recommend it. Go see your movie...

The Towne Theatre is exactly what you would expect from a small-town, single-screen movie theater. The facility itself is older and has probably seen better years, but it's very quaint and the atmosphere is inviting. Both the quality of the movie and the quality of the sound exceeded my expectations and for the inexpensive ticket price I would definitely return for another visit. Well done...
