Z E R O STARS!! for pharmacy
rude. complaining staff (Evonna, swearing about me as she hangs up) shorted our prescription(once for sure, but one other time also... i just didnt see it at first.) doesn't work well with doctors. Service has been downright terrible these last couple of years. I'm the one who tries to do the work of mediating between the doctor's office and this Pharmacy and it's like they still can't fill a prescription according to what the doctor prescribes. The last prescription we needed filled our doctor had to finally call and speak to the pharmacist herself. She ended up having to give a verbal authorization so as not to confuse CVS and their system. One pharmacist (charlie) accepted the verbal authorization the next day a different pharmacist (trisha) said that that verbal authorization had not been entered into the system. And then she(trisha) proceeded to change our prescription paperwork according to a verbal authorization that she did not receive herself. And when I went in to find out what was going on, the pharmacist herself (trisha)told me that "the culture of CVS does not care about clients or prescriptions and that the only thing their corporate culture cares about is vaccines." She also told me that trying to help facilitate the pharmacy and the doctor's office work well together would "only be possible in a perfect world." She said that to my face in person in front of me and other customers. I filed a complaint with CVS reg mgr. And now I will file a complaint with the State Board for licensing.
and looked over a few other negative reviews... and lo and behold... it's a...
Read moreIt is ridiculous that I cannot simply call the CVS to see if my prescriptions are being filled. Your app is useless as it did not give me the option to refill the prescriptions. Your telephone system did not even list the prescriptions that I have had filled every month for over 10 (ten) years! When I call even at odd hours (like 1 am) to your 24 hour CVS, I can no longer speak to anyone, they make me jump through numerous prompts to just give me a voicemail message. Who wants to leave a voicemail and what, get a call at 2 am? I would think the overnight pharmacist could have a few minutes to answer a call at 1 am, as it doesn't seem to be a particularly busy time. The pharmacy had nobody in it at the time of my actual visit which occurred to request the refill since I could not access any assistance by telephone. Which meant I had to leave my house and drive to the CVS and then wait for my prescriptions to be filled. There is no convenience using your pharmacy any more, even the pharmacist offered to send my prescription to another pharmacy with better service. This is sad. I know a lot of Seniors use this pharmacy and they are going to find it harder and harder to use it without "technology". This used to be my number one choice, even before Rite Aid closed and CVS absorbed the local small pharmacies. Not so much anymore. I recommend you think about the direction this pharmacy is going and...
Read moreIt is incredibly convenient and often a blessing when you can go to a pharmacy anytime in 24 hours to pick up a really important prescription for your child. You can only get that at CVS on 38th and Pine St in Erie and it's a Godsend. There are always friendly staff behind the counter of the pharmacy at CVS even when I'm walking in after midnight when I'm getting off work. For any family working odd hours or in an emergency CVS is thankfully...
