We stopped by this location for a quick coffee break while driving from Niagara Falls, NY to Pittsburgh, PA. As soon as we parked at the coffee shop at 6:55 PM on 5/18/2019, the doors were locked and the ārestaurant closed, drive thru openā sign was flipped when my sister and dad approached the door. Weird for a place thatās supposed to be open 24 hrs, but whatever. Then, a member of the staff comes outside and places a chair in front of the other door (were we stupid or threatening enough as Indian people to try and enter through here?!). We ignore all of this and sit in our car and head to the drive-thru which has got to be one of the most rude experiences of our lives. Starting from the strange order taking ordeal to the lack of politeness or basic decorum at payment and delivery of the coffee. Iāve been here in the US long enough to know that bad customer service is NOT what this country is known for. All of this was really strange because there was no one else behind our car in the drive thru. We have never felt this unwelcome anywhere else in our lives. Both the female employees at this outlet (whose names I did not catch in all this weirdness) at the aforementioned date and time were extremely rude to us and made our first ever visit to a Tim Hortons, a very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food is typically good here, however, the service is typically less than desirable...regardless of how I state my order, they always, and I mean always, ask me the questions I've already answered. For instance I state I want the #9 combo with sausage on a plain bagel with coffee. They then ask what kind of bagel, I already said plain, but then they say sausage or bacon. I already said sausage. Then without fail they ask if I want anything else. I then say, repeating my order, the combo please with coffee as my drink. Now normally I'm very easy going. But this has happened at this location 14 times now without fail. I've counted. So why did I say combo in the first place? Are they not allowed to just process it as a combination on the first request. And the sad thing is that I expect this everytIme I make my order. And I'm speaking very distinctly. Good golly. I'm sorry for the rant, but this has now made me a non-fan of ordering anything at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI live near a Tim Hortons. I don't eat there a lot, but decided to try it out. I ordered a steak panini meal with chips and an iced tea. The service was very friendly and quick. I brought my food home. There was an odd smell, almost like cardboard. I took a bite of the pannini and it was fine. My tea was perfect- unsweetened tea with a touch of sweet tea. Now the chips- I ate one chip and realized the odd smell were the chips. I tried a total of 3 and threw away the bag. I wouldn't even let my dog have one that fell on the floor. They tasted like chemicals, maybe something plastic got into the batch - I don't know, but it was awful. I called and spoke with a shift manager. She was very friendly and accommodating. She said she would check it out and offered a fresh batch when I return. Honestly, I don't think I will get the fresh batch. That smell is memorable. I am afraid to try it again. I gave this a couple stars because the...
