Stefanelli's Candies — Local services in Erie

My family comes from Erie, Pennsylvania. We have always eaten Stefanelli’s chocolate. We live in Florida and have not been to Erie for sometime. I recently made an order online and the shipping says two day shipping. If I am paying almost $18 for two day shipping then my chocolate had better be to me at the latest within three days from the day that I order it. I am extremely disappointed by the fact that I ordered chocolate on a Friday and was told that they would not even be packaging the chocolate to be delivered until sometime the following week. I have to time my orders for when Florida has a cold snap, which usually only last three days tops. There is no reason for me to order this chocolate if it’s not going to be delivered when your website says that it will be delivered. It is entirely unacceptable for me to spend more than $150 on chocolate that is going to be completely ruined by the time it gets to my house. Additionally, I completely refuse to spend $75 on overnight shipping, that’s outrageous and completely insane. The chocolate is good but it’s not $75 for shipping good. I think that revisions and overhaul of your shipping policies would go along way, considering I can order live crawfish to be shipped to my house from Louisiana overnight for $20 for shipping and 95% of the crawfish are still alive when they get here the next day. I’m so disappointed, and so is my family. we were all very much looking forward to having chocolate for Christmas this year. I won’t ever make this...

I was disappointed when I arrived at the 8th st store only to find it was closed for maintenance. Traveled over to the store off of 38th street and the cashier was very nice but she was surprised that the store was still closed over on 8th. I picked up some yummy sponge candy and as always was not disappointed. However I was disappointed in the box of assorted creams I bought for my mom. Not a fan!! I guess I’ll stick to the sponge candy and the chocolate covered marshmallows that I couldn’t find to order on the Stefaneli’s website. I guess I’ll wait for my yearly trip back to Erie next year to pick up my favorites but...

LOVE LOVE LOVE Stefanelli's Candies!!! LET ME SAY THIS - if you haven't had the experience of eating (devouring) their chocolate covered grapes - HOLD ON TO YOUR WAISTBAND - bc they are amazing! ABSOLUTELY amazing! Sorry not sorry for buying all that they had over the weekend. CANNOT say enough about their chocolate - and the customer service is always great! So thank you for having great chocolate and awesome workers! Let me leave my review with one last thought - CHOCOLATE COVERED GRAPES - YOU HAVE TO TRY!
