THEY DO NOT GIVE YOU YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT OF $200 BACK. 1ST TOLD ME IT WAS MY BANK AND THEN SAID BECAUSE WE WROTE A BAD REVIEW (WHICH WE DIDNT) WILL FIGHT THIS AND DISPUTE WAY PAST THE $200. And I Did not try to sneak a pet in ! That is hysterical! It is pet friendly! I immediately went back and and paid the 50 fee!!!! Why in the world would I pick something higher.? And the funny part is the $50 pet fee was put on my account first plus the $3 tax or whatever!! So there are 2 charges!!!! Do not try to lie your way out Of it! SCAMMERS! Literally committing WIRE FRAUD by offering one price on line then another higher price in person . I was told I could not cancel my reservation, so I showed up to check in, I was told my reservation was cancelled ( I had a current reservation number on the choice hotel website) . I was also informed that they could offer me a walk in rate of TWICE the amount my reservation was. Staff is unfriendly and ignorant. Customer service was no help.( I am a choice rewards diamond member). The poor guy trying to check in behind me was told his reservation was “ lost” and they could offer him the increased rate as well. I DID NOT STAY THERE AND WAS LEFT WITHOUT A ROOM FOR THE NIGHT.. I am prepared to fight any and all charges if needed. Lobby/ front desk was filthy and reeked of mildew, cigarette smoke and unwashed bodies. There are long term rentals and unaccompanied children running all over the parking lot. I was outraged. I travel several times a year and always use choice hotels. I was horrified that this property is under the choice umbrella.I have previously worked for IHG as a front desk agent, supervisor and a night auditor and know my stuff. DO NOT BOOK! Stayed one night. The bed was extremely uncomfortable but the room was fair enough. However, the next morning when we were getting ready to leave I had an asthma attack and I needed to do a breathing treatment. As anyone who has this issue knows, it only takes about 15 minutes. At 4 mins after the 11 am checkout, my daughter answered the phone and the owner rudely said we need to leave. She told him we had a medical issue and would be out shortly. At 7 minutes the same thing as I was putting my med. eguip. back in my bag. The phone was ringing again as we exited the room but we just continued to the lobby. The owner tried to charge us for an extra day but I said absolutely no way and we were charged and extra $25 instead. This place has no concept of hospitality but if you're looking for hostility, then they have plenty of it to offer. You would think they would show more understanding to the people who gave them the opportunity to become business owners in our great country. At least they could show a little class as befitting the industry they represent. We found other welcoming accommodations elsewhere and had a wonderful week in...
