Was at the Ballpark at Erie for the 1st time, to see my brother and his over 50 league teammates play. They were the only game(early on a weekday) at the time. I think there were 4 fields and all of them were in incredibly good shape. The infields were smooth and of a beautiful reddish color with crisp foul lines. The outfield grass was lush on all fields and cut at a nice height. I haven't played in years, but when I did, starting at the Mapleton ballparks of Boulder in 1980(fastpitch) and continuing in slow pitch leagues into 2012, I played many ballparks along the front range from Evan's to Colorado Springs and never have I seen such well kept fields!
