This is one of two Starbucks locations I visit quite often as I live approximately the same distance away from both. I'm a person of habit, and I always order the same drink through the drive thru. I rarely order a food product unless I'm with my teen, and even then, my teen is also a person of habit and always orders the same as well. I tend to visit this Starbucks location as it's next to the gas station and to Walgreens. There's not much to say about the food product as it's all premade and heated. However, my drink that I always order usually doesn't taste the same and most times made wrong, which I don't realize until I'm a good distance driving to my next destination. The drink is part of the Starbucks drink menu, nothing fancy. So how can it be so hard to make it properly?? Once, there was peppermint syrup added to my drink, which shouldn't have been in it (completely gross, couldn't drink it)! Another time, they forgot the flavoring and the milk (it was an expensive watered down expresso)! Yet, there was another instance where they gave me the wrong type of milk in my drink (tasted "off" and the very small amount that I drank made me sick, literally)! I've made my concerns known. I've gone recently back to this Starbucks, and still my usual drink didn't taste as it should. I'll be going to the other Starbucks location...
Read moreI keep trying to give this place.the benefit of the doubt and I'm always disappointed.
We went on Red Cup Day today, ordered two qualifying drinks and pulled up to the window. They handled us our drinks and I asked if they were out of of the cups. We were responded to with a flat and harsh "No." Since no other comment was forthcoming, I asked if the drinks we ordered were in fact qualifying. The window attendant just looked at me and stated they were qualified drinks with no other comment. Then I stated that they must be out of the cups, which would have been fine as we went at 9 am. However, the attendant just looked at me and said no we have the cups. So then I asked if I could have two, one for each drink. She turned away and said we'll get them. I'm not sure why the cold, rude, and rather harsh interaction. And I'm not sure what I did to deserve that interaction. It was not like the store was extremely busy. This is not The first time I've had this type of cold and harsh interaction at this location like that.
If I want Starbucks, I'll drive to the one on 287, as they are nice, friendly, and inviting to their customers at that location. Otherwise, I'm more than happy to continue to frequent the numerous mom and pop shops for coffee...
