Erie Community Park — Attraction in Erie

This is a cool park! The playgrounds are nice - there is something for kids of all ages. The only unfortunate part is the proximity and lack of protection of the baseball field. I was here today with my partner and three kids, and there was a group that was playing baseball that was consistently hitting the ball out of the park and balls were landing on the path and into grass of the center field. They hit one ball about a foot away from hitting my 1 year - no apology or anything and several others that came too close for comfort. I think there should be somewhat of a buffer or protection as the park is a pretty active area filled with kids and adults that aren’t exactly looking out for flying baseballs and shouldn’t have to. My kids love it. Erie Community Park is a fantastic spot for families and anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors! We absolutely love it. The playground is spacious and well-designed, perfect for kids of all ages. There’s plenty of green space, picnic areas, and walking paths, making it a great place for a relaxing afternoon. The splash pad is a big hit in the summer, and the sports courts and skate park add even more fun options. It’s always clean, well-maintained, and a great place to gather with friends and family....

This is a very beautiful and open park. There's a skate park, people are kind and aware of beginners or children and watch out for them. There's a huge soccer field, two playgrounds and a baseball diamond. The entire park has a sidewalk that wraps around so you can run or walk laps. The park is well maintained, there's a crew always looking for any trash that may need to be picked up or anything that needs maintenance. There's a Men's and Women's restroom that's indoors.
