DosBros Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Evansville

Went in, the guy sitting at the use to be drive up window was more interested in his phone than waiting on a customer. I explained i hadn't been in there before and I wasnt understanding how to order. He never put his phone down, he wasnt paying any attention to me. I has told him want I wanted, he walked down to the end of the counter abd asked me a question with his broken English, I didn't understand what he said. Then he proceeded to get rude with me. So I said a few choice words and left. He was rude and a smart ass. I will never go back. I see why their parking lot is empty. You need to find a different person to wait on customers. We waited for the new hype to die down and boy, has it. The restaurant has been pretty dead for a couple weeks and the food is a fair indicator. Probably the most bland “Mexican” food I’ve had in a long time. I think the sour cream had the most flavor for my tacos. Just kind of a much sadder version of Chipotle. The employees were nice but they looked like they were so relieved to see anyone at lunchtime and since then we’ve driven by and seen them just sitting there waiting for someone to come in. I got the spicy chicken burrito, and it was very tasty and large. If you've been to a Chipotle, you will get basically the same experience here. Maybe even a bit better for the chicken. The chips were not as good as Chiptole though. The hot salsa is pretty hot but not super flavorful.

My visit was on their first day, so the team is still learning. But they were friendly and helpful.

I'd give them 4.5 stars for the first visit if I could, but at $20 for lunch I have to take...
