We used to have amazing mail people, they were friendly would say hi to us and even chat for a couple minutes here or there. We always got our packages when expected and they would bring them to our door.. Since a bit before the pandemic hit, most mail people were replaced and now we get little to no packages on time. I have seen our mail person drive past when I know they have packages and instead of bringing them to the door, they fill our mailbox with letters then leave. We’ve tried running after them before too to try and get our packages. We order a lot of time sensitive/perishable items that we pay extra shipping for so we get them quickly.. But they are almost NEVER delivered on time. Imagine being excited for an expensive delivery with tracking saying “out for delivery by 8” then all of a sudden at 6:45 “delivery attempted… Held at post office at customers request”… BULL! I had my front door open waiting for the package and no delivery was ever attempted. When ordering expensive items that are time sensitive in the mail, the buyer sees that it was held at my request which ruins my chance of ever getting a refund or empathy over how badly run our post office is. The worst part is the mail master doesn’t try to help, and is completely unhelpful when packages are damaged or don’t arrive on time. I understand being busy and slower mail times, but at this point it’s...
Read moreI've probably had better than a half dozen POB's in my lifetime, each requiring some degree of interaction with Postal employees, and all interactions either neutral or positive. This is not the case in Everson WA. If the Post Mistress is involved in an interaction it will be unpleasant, and likely correlates to the high turnover of staff and resulting chaos. Our box often is crammed with items, regardless of items being labeled "Do Not Bend" - despite an abundance of empty pick-up lockers. Packages that have been left for pick-up may sit for 3 or 4 days after arriving before a locker key or pick-up at counter slip is put in one's POB. This most easily seen with Amazon orders that post "delivered" notices. I have been notified by Amazon that a package would be late because the Postal employee wouldn't sign for the package - the reason neither my spouse or I order our medications by mail. I would be somewhat more forgiving were we in a major metropolitan zone, but I think our town has less than...
Read moreIm a truck driver who delivers Amazon loads to this Post Office all the time. I delivered yesterday, Christmas Eve, and i was late because my truck acted up on me (normal in trucking business), but i made my repairs and arrived hours late but still made it. Their mail lady was incredibly rude to me as if it's just OKAY to treat truck drivers like dirt lol. She wanted to vent about having a 12 hours day saying "You guys didn't show yesterday and now you're here late and now we have a 12 hour day," which I would rather have taken than to have truck act up or break down and she obviously has no idea how this works, WE'RE NOT EMPLOYED BY AMAZON THATS WHY YOU SEE OTHER COMPANY NAMES ON OUR BOX TRUCKS, lol I own 5 Stars Trucking, Amazon doesn't own me, it's just a contract and the mail lady should be grateful about her job and I will be following up with this next i see them. Merry Christmas this is what comes of it. Im a woman too and i made my repairs and did my job, she can suck it...
