Dollar General — Local services in Fair Grove

Although they are reported to be open until 10, they are Not. I was there Sat night at 8:30 and within minutes was told they were closing in 15 minutes, along with 5-6 other customers. The staff were not helpful when asked even simple questions like an explanation of the current sale. When I checked out the cashier stated that as of that day the closing hours had changed to 9, so I asked was it all stores or just them. I was told, "it is all stores". Well, that is just incorrect, Buffalo and Springfield remain 10 or later. Overall, I found the staff unhelpful, short (bordering rude), and willing to spread misinformation. I was disappointed with the service received. I tried using the Dollar General app and Digital Coupons for the first time. It was very time consuming, especially making sure I did everything correctly. I got to the register and it didn't work. The cashier was unsure of how to fix it and asked for a coworker to come help. She was not very knowledgeable either and basically told me I was out of luck. I had a huge line behind me and was completely embarrassed as I had to put many items back and help up the line. Their response when I left was "hope we get it fixed". Yea... me too. Or you at least should have honored my coupons considering I had my phone right in front of you......

Very pleased with the Dollar General today. I stopped going there months ago because you could not get your cart down the isles. I left the store without buying anything on many occasions because the store was so cluttered that I could not even get through the isles. I was very impressed by the store today.
