New French Nails — Local services in Fair Lawn

I am upset to have to leave a bad review for French Nails because I've always had a great experience.  However, I took my 15 year old daughter to get pedicures together in June 2022. I had a great experience, but my daughter did not.  We didn't sit next to each other so I didn't know how bad it was until after it was over and I already paid $30 plus gave a $20 tip. When we got in the car to go home, she showed me her feet and I was horrified.  They did a terrible job!! I immediately walked back into the salon, calmly explained my dismay to the owner and showed him her feet (with sloppy nail polish and no exfoliation on her heels). I explained she didn't get a leg massage, no hot stones, no exfoliating her feet, nothing! The owner looked annoyed, said nothing, just went to the register and took a $10 bill out and threw it at me, then walked away.  I was shocked and said, you're throwing $10 at me to get out? No apology, not a gift card to come back, nothing.  And all the workers just stared at us annoyed. It was horrible.  I'll never go back, and it's a shame because I really liked going there up...

My daughter and I went here for her birthday and I got the gentleman to do my nails who did a great job but the woman there did my daughters nails, didn’t clean them, didn’t cut her cuticles, and caked up the acrylic on top of the dirt - she didn’t even do the design right that was chosen - when I said something she huffed at me started speaking in her language to the gentleman who attempted to fix it but there was really nothing he could do at that point. They didn’t even apologize and just said “bye”. $180 down the drain. Disgusting and very disappointed. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the gentleman who did my nails and lady who did our pedicures did a good job - the woman (who I think is his wife) is a nightmare and should stop...

I went in for a mani pedi and got my pedicure first. Once my first nail was painted I asked if this was the right color and was told “yes”. They only offered to redo my toes to match my wrong colored nails 🙄. Then charged me and then the owner yelled and told her to charge me more. They laughed at the color being wrong and did nothing to ensure I left happy. I’ve never been gas lit by a nail tech truly a unique experience. I will head over the George Washington bridge next time I’m getting...
