UPDATE Nov 24, 2024: it has now been over 2 months since my parents have been in Winchester Medical Center and over a month since anyone from APS has contacted me. My parents home is now under risk of pipes bursting and the house being flooded due to gas being shut off (unpaid bills/mortgage thanks to the incompetent staff at APS) and the bank is looking to take the house from them. WHERE IS THAT PROTECTION YOU PROMISED, CHELSEA WALDRON??? YOU HAVE DESTROYED ANY HOPE THEY HAVE OF SAVING THEIR HOME!!! These people are a menace. They will not help you help the elderly. They truly do not GAF and will lazily allow everything to be taken from them. Also, a person named "Jessi" is on this case. I have no number for this person as Chelsea has continued to ignore my attempts at contact or obtaining any information in regards to my parents' case. This entire organization needs to be gutted and shut down. I can not believe how horribly things have turned out since these criminals became involved. Biggest mistake of my life, seeking help from a government run agency. NEVER AGAIN!!! Beware of APS.

Original review: Where to start.. May of this year, my elderly parents were being extorted by my younger sister, she'd been funneling hundreds of thousands out of their accounts and bullying them into buying large items for her and her 3 fatherless children, including another house. I contacted APS, a woman named Chelsea Waldron, and at first, she seemed to be very adamant about helping and getting as much information as possible to get them the help they needed. Soon, it seemed like her goal was to condemn their home as fast as possible when it is not in a condemned state and shove them into a nursing facility. She then went radio silent when things weren't moving fast enough for her because I wasn't willing to do the deceitful things she was advising me to do in order to gain whatever she needed to take full power from my parents. Then they went missing, and she was at first very reluctant to even make a call to the county police and state police (I had already called both FFX and state police to report them missing and endangered; FFX told me to let state police handle it and state police were so uninterested they hung up on me mid sentence.) When I was begging for her help, she was practically mocking my fear for their safety, saying things like "maybe they just went for a joy ride, who knows" 🙄 yes, I'm sure my 92 and 80 year old parents who TOLD ME THEY WERE LOST last time I was able to get them on the phone just went for a little joy ride... they ended up in Winchester, over an hour from home, dehydrated, malnourished, and my father's heart issues were exasperated. Since then, Chelsea has been anything BUT helpful and communicative. I had to find out from the hospital that they're trying to appoint a legal guardian for them and that my older sister was given POA and gave it up to the state, when I had been asking this APS woman for over a month, nearing two months now, how worried I have been and how hard I have been working to try and help them out of this and into a better situation. They now have thousands of dollars in medical debt, and their car is racking up thousands sitting in an impound lot. APS will NOT help you. Their goal is to take power away from the elderly, steal their property, and shove them away somewhere they can be forgotten. My parents weren't even allowed to be together for their 54th anniversary. I'm beyond disappointed and disgusted by the way this organization operates. I contacted Adult Protective Services. About My Experiences & Concerns To Register My Vehicle Moving from Prince William County to Fairfax County.

In doing so - I encountered some INAPPROPRIATE Action BY DMV.

Trying to charge me Property Taxes at PWC when I had physically moved to Fairfax County last year. So - Having worked as a Case Manager Federal & State Government over 30 yrs - I felt in my situation this would be the way to avoid ongoing events.

I & My Daughter went to Fairfax County DMV. Registered my vehicle from PWC to Fairfax & paid the Property Taxes due last year $850 so dollars & got my updated tags!

Recently Adult Protective Servic Supervisor from Fairfax contacted me apologizing for the mistakes made by her Worker. Unsure of what this was since I had already registered my car last year for Fairfax where I - I NOW Live. Than days later - I got a bill for unpaid Property Taxes for last Year & this years due taxes ???? I’m thinking WHAT THE HELL? I paid my own property taxes with my Daughter present & got my updated tags & sticker? Now - How Can I be charged again for last year & this years Property taxes? Apparently the NEW Workforce is uncertain & lack Common sense ????? I have my proof of my payment & other evidence I got last years Updated DECAL!

Now being sent a double bill to pay last year Property Taxes & this years Property Taxes? Almost $2,000 - No wonder APS entire Office out for Training when trying to call them in getting this erroneous Bill for two years Property Taxes! Did the Adult Protective Service Supervisor crest this mess or her Employees louse she claimed had made last years MESS?????

NEED TO CHANGE THEIR NAME TO "ADULT PROTECTIVE SERVICES-DOES NOT CARE" ABOUT ELDER NEGLECT & ELDER ABUSE DESTROYING YOUR ELDER LOVED ONE! I GAVE THEM DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE & THEY WALKED AWAY & MOM HAS BEEN GRAVELY INJURED SINCE JUNE 2023 AT COBBDALE!

FAIRFAX COUNTY A.P.S. WENDY SUCKS! 4TH TIME I REPORTED GUARDIANSHIP & PHYSICIAN MEDICAL NEGLECT & MEDICATION ABUSE & WITHHOLDING MEDICAL CARE AND DENTAL CARE AND INJURY, ILLNESS, INFECTION AND DISEASE AND RETAINING AT AN ASSISTED LIVING AGAINST MOM'S WILL AND AGAINST MOM'S BEST INTERESTS WHICH HAS ENTIRELY DESTROYED MY MOM IN HER BEING REMOVED FROM HER ONLY HOME OF 45 YEARS WITH THERE BEING ABSOLUTELY NO JUST CAUSE, EXCEPT FOR "DODGE" TO SO VERY INHUMANELY SEEK TO DESTROY MY MOM FOR HIS PLEASURE.

FINALLY THEY ARE INVESTIGATING ALL CRIMINAL MEDICAL NEGLECT. THE POLICE ALSO DO NOT CARE!
