Craft House isn’t just a restaurant—it’s our very own version of Cheers, except the beer selection is better, the food is tastier, and karaoke nights sometimes sound like Broadway. Walk through the doors and you’ll find more than a bar—you’ll find a community. George, the manager, somehow manages to keep the wheels turning smoothly while also keeping the shenanigans at just the right level.
The people make this place what it is. Vika and Sina are magicians at keeping the glasses filled, Brooke, Roman, Alex, Will, and Arnold bring energy that keeps the place buzzing, and Emily, Karla, Brian, Stephen, and Derek add warmth to every night. Then there are Baby Lucas and Papa Lucas—completely unrelated, but both part of the Craft House DNA.
The regulars give it soul. Kevin always has a joke, John lights up the room with his smile, Julian gives out hugs as if they’re part of the menu, and Antonio turns karaoke into a full-blown production. Together, these folks create a place that feels less like a restaurant and more like an extended family reunion you actually want to attend.
Craft House also has its own rhythm. Tuesdays bring trivia, where brains and beer flow together. Wednesdays and Fridays are karaoke nights, where bravery is optional but encouraged. Saturdays mean live music, the soundtrack to great food, cold beer, and a community that knows how to celebrate life.
But here’s the serious part: Craft House is more than food, more than beer, more than events. It’s a safe space where people can gather, laugh, and look after one another. It’s where fellowship is real, kindness is served up daily, and community is built one pint at a time. I can honestly say I’m grateful for all the people who make this place what it is—for what they’ve done for me and for what they do for each other.
Five stars hardly seem enough. This is the kind of place that reminds you the world can be good—and that’s worth...
Read moreLet me tell you about this place, this is THE place to be. My girlfriend and I come here on a regular basis and it will continue to be one of our favorite spots here in Fairfax. We usually always come when one of favorite bartenders is working Sina. This man will not make it feel like a bar but more like you went out to talk with a friend. Sina and I have had conversations till the bar has closed, even then he never made me feel like a customers but more like a close friend! He makes some of the best drinks and they are some of the BEST tasting drinks. He always comes up with some crazy shots for my girlfriend, all I have to say is "Surprise me" and he will take care of us! Honestly it is one of the best feelings, to go to this bar and everyone knows us and will always take care of us and make us feel like we are always welcomed.
Next, the FOOD! Oh my goodness the food. With different specials always happening and even their standard menu is some of the best items. The tacos do not feel heavy, but rather light, and very filling. The Crafthouse Tots though are always our go to. Crunchy tots with a very nice cheese sauce and bacon, just typing this makes my mouth water. You will not leave on an empty stomach. There is not one thing on this menu I would not order.
Seriously though at the end of the day, DON'T write this place of you will be in for a good time. There is always something going on from trivia, to karaoke, to live music. The bartenders are great and will give you great drinks, the food will leave you filled, and you will make some great friends with the staff. Just ask for Sina, and say "surprise me with a shot" and talk about anime with him and you will be in for a...
Read moreLiterally the worst service I've ever had. We originally came back a couple weeks ago after finding out about the rebranding. The food was much better with the menu chance and they had great choices for craft beer, but the service was still mediocre. We came back today with a friend, walked in, seated ourselves and waited at least 20 minutes without being acknowledged by a staff member. We finally waved for someone to come over and ordered a flight of 4 beers. After about 10 more minutes this girl (not our server) comes over with no flight, but 4 beers of 3 different sizes. We told her we ordered a flight and she responded "oh. You wanted a flight of all of them?" I explained we ordered a flight and chose 4 different beers. She left to go fix our order but we were all so fed up at that point we got up and left. Overall, it almost seemed like the employees there were almost trying to sabotage the service. There were multiple people at the bar and sitting at tables, and it seemed like only the people seated at the bar were being served. Even the last time we were there, the sever was less than attentive, and even sat down at the bar with another patron at one point for an extended period of time. Good luck keeping this place in business. The lack of customer service is going to be the demise of this company. Rebranding wasn't enough. You. Ant expect people to come back when you make them wait almost 30 minutes without having a drink. What a shame. We ended up walking down to Ozzie's instead. Amazing food. Great service. Drinks are delicious. Love that place....
