Terrible customer service and service in general. I wasn't going to write this review but after today experience definitely have to do that. So, first, couple of weeks ago, I was returning sun glasses for which I wasn't given original case. I got such a horrible look from two of the cashiers when I brought the glasses back along with the case that I was previousluy given (it was designer case but not the matching one). I felt so bad, but...why should I feel bad?!? Should I actually be feeling equally disappointed when I cluldn't get adequate case??! Today I was returning boots that I bought online as a clearance item as a gift from my husband. I couldn't zip the boots up, they were too narrow, and that was the only reason for return. I tried them on in the house, found out they will not work for me and took them back. They still had original label from the store from which they were shipped out to me. They did have really slight marks on the sole under the label, as if they were tried on, but since they were clearance item, and still actually in excellent condition, I didn't pay that much attention when I opened the box. They were all leather, with leather sole. It is pretty obvious when all leather shoes were worn. And these were maybe just tried on in the store. I really don't know the history of the item. And so, I am returning the boots, and the cashier is telling me that they were worn that they were also not clearance item, because label on the boots says so, and than they might not be able to have them back. They were looking at the label on the boots, without checking in the system. Price I paid was half as much as on the boots. I couldn't zip up the boots because I have a swelling problem on one of my legs, and so there was literally no chance that I could wear the boots. I felt so embarassed. The manager of the store was super rude. And again, should I be actually the one disappointed because I received (possibly) worn boots??? Even though a clearance item, I (my husband) still pay good money for them. So disappointed with the service, especially the way store manager was treated me. I do not need to explain to anybody publicly that one of my feet is swollen due to injury, and that I wasn't even able to put the boots completely on.. btw these were over the knee boots and they couldn't pass my ankle. Very very embarrassing and sad that I had to go through all this. I also asked for the gift card instead of refund, since these were gift, I wasn't given one. Just like that. They said they were sorry since they forgot that I asked for it when they were issuing refund. Terrible store, much worse than any other NR I was shopping at. I actually simply can't believe that this is one of the Nordstorm...
   Read moreI never write bad reviews, but this trip I just had to. I went to return an item, I told the cashier I had the gift receipt and there was a sizing issue nothing else. She then proceeded to have an attitude to just give me a return…she stated the item wasn’t on the receipt. We went back and forth saying it’s on the receipt and she was convinced it wasn’t. She shows me the monitor, and I tell her scroll down and watch it be there. She does and there it is. Next thing she was telling me that ohhh it doesn’t have a price tag and I was just like omg it was gifted to me the item is in perfect condition and i have the receipt Lol okay She puts my refund in a gift card. Lucky I stayed at that store and found something to purchase because once I went to checkout I was told the gift card only had like 5 dollars on it… Now i’m confused cause they just gave me that gift card and the cashier was kind of giving me a “there’s nothing we can do about it” vibe and I was just there for so long for an issue that could’ve been solved so easily. I told her i didn’t leave the store so there weren’t any purchases made… 10 mins later she comes back, apologizes and i finish paying. Honestly the customer service needs a lot of work.    Read moreI have been coming to this location for awhile and generally I leave with a few items. Selection is decent and the shoe section is very expansive.
Upon my most recent few trips, I came to notice how unfriendly and unaware the sales floor staff are. The cashiers are usually fine. I get it, they’re busy and I’ve been in retail before myself. However, if I have to squeeze past someone or cut into someone’s space I would always throw out a quick “excuse me” or “sorry”
The last visit was so bad I started counting how many times it happened. Staff doesn’t really show common courtesy. Constantly shoving in front or by with merch carts, reracking a clothing item and quite literally reaching in front me to put something away. This past trip one clipped me with a rolling rack. Not even an acknowledgment.
