Coming into the restaurant was friendly enough but we started having issues during ordering. We chose the restaurant because we saw online on CPK’s official website that there were vegan options. We had a single person that was vegan. She asked for a 7” pizza because it said that was vegan, and the waiter said that it had egg. We were confused so we rechecked the website and showed her the website and she said she would ask again because she actually wasn’t sure. The manager then came and was immediately very defensive. He didn’t even ask us if we had any questions or what the original issue was or who the order was for. He just came up and assumed it was an egg allergy and couldn’t confirm whether or not it had egg because it may contain traces of egg… which is not what we asked about at all. We just wanted to know if it actually contained egg. And even after assuming it was an egg allergy, he asked in a sarcastic tone “Well, I mean, have you tasted the crust?” Which would have been terrible to tell someone with an egg allergy that he assumed one of us had. He wouldn’t really let us speak, but was very presumptuous about everything and didn’t even ask questions to clarify. If he would have just came and asked us “How can I help?” Or something along those lines, it would have been very easy because she didn’t care if “it may contain traces”, she just wanted to know if it was actively made with egg. But the defensiveness just left a bad taste in our mouths and she ended up not ordering at all. It was bad service. Besides that, the three pastas we had didn’t taste like much. My daughter’s kid cheese pizza had more flavor than the garlic cream fettuccine. I ended up just eating the half she didn’t eat. I would recommend just sticking with the pizza if you do decide to eat here. Very...
Read moreSomeone call the Health department. My children and I went in to have an early dinner. We were originally sat in a booth that had water all over the seat... the vent was leaking a lot of water. I assumed it was condensation from the AC, but that should not be happening, especially not that much water. They moved us into a new booth next to the leaky vent and still got his with water droplets. We decided to ignore it and put in our orders. After, we all went to the rest room (which was not clean) to wash our hands. As we were walking back to the table I was completely grossed out by what I saw. The floor was nasty. There were clumps of hair in water spots, crumbs, trash and caked on food. The floor was not clean when they opened that day or the night before when they closed. And no one was trying to clean it then either. This prompted me to look further. The ledge where we sat was completely cover in layers of dust....so much so you could plant corn. I then paid attention to the kitchen, as I kept hearing a loud popping noise. The manager had an electric fly swatter and was swatting bugs over the open food. I couldn't believe it. The bugs do not stick to those fly swatters...they have to land some where....you do the math. The tile in the kitchen was dingy and gross. I had stop looking before I found anything else that was gonna churn my stomach. Our spinach artichoke dip was watery and green. And my chicken tasted rancid. My kids were not happy with their meal either. We left asap.....I will never set foot in that...
Read moreThe app automatically charged a nine dollar tip to my card without having me select it. I’m going in to pick up food, receiving no service and the tip is added to it and automatically. Inappropriate. I figured OK well I guess the kids there are probably working hard. When I get there three people are standing at the front point me towards the bar to go get my takeout. When I get to the bar the girl there tells me my food must not be done yet. I say yes I believe it would be done by now, as I was 20 minutes later than the ETA when it was supposed to be finished. She then points me over to another area where bags are sitting waiting for customers and asked me had I paid yet. I was like yes I paid, overpaid actually! I then walk across the restaurant to the second location where my bag is supposedly waiting. I see my name on the front of the bag, open it to look inside to make sure that my order is correct because I cannot handle one more disappointment this evening. The girl who works there then comes over to me, makes the effort to say “are you sure that’s yours.” The most effort that was put into the customer service towards me at that restaurant was double checking had I paid and double checking that I was not touching somebody else’s bag. Terrible service. The food was under portioned and overpriced. My sad salad was floating in melted goat cheese. Very unpleasant experience to pay $70 for two meals, receive terrible customer service, have a tip included that I did not select, not a...
