I’ve been wanting to play Firestone Farms again for the past two years. The course is so popular it can be a challenge to get a tee time you want. I was able to get an early morning weekday time and enjoyed it completely.

The layout and variety of holes are as good as any public course in the area. There are 5 sets of tees to challenge all different playing levels. I played the white tees listed at just over 6000 yards, but the course definitely played shorter than that as it was hard and fast (not burned out like many other courses) in the fairways due to lack of rain the past several weeks.

Recommend playing to the front of greens or even a yard or two short as you definitely get some forward bounce on most approach shots. There was little to no rough, or at least very short rough.

The downside to a course this good is that it does get a lot play, with that abundance of play comes greens that roll well but have more than a few pock marks and tee boxes that are rough in a few places.

What I appreciated the most about the course is that it makes you think about that 2nd shot, and not just grab your driver on every par 4 and par 5 tee shot.

The thank you email from the course later in the day for playing was a nice touch as well to top off the great service...

Back at Firestone Farms yesterday after a few years hiatus, nice layout nice people but it still takes way too long to play. Quit going there because of 5 1/2 hour rounds and yesterday was no different. Got behind four young men who played it from the red tees, they could get the ball to the front tees then drove the cart in places where the cart would stall they then had to go backwards for a good while. Also, these four fools got down on their haunches to read every putt. Give it up boys, you have no idea how to read a putt standing or squatting. They fell 2 holes behind and we...

August 3 rd 2025. Sunday 830 am tee time pace of play was perfect sadly they must give the guy that cuts the pins the weekends off the area around the pin locations are beat up with old and new balls marks. Like 3 or 4 days worth but early AM tee time What a bummer drove an hour payed premium but fair rate and got a beat up old hole location when I complained to one of my playing partners he said what, Do you think we are at Firestone I had and seen a lot of putts on line that bumped off from old ball marks. Do...

This could be my favorite course i have ever played. I booked us a guys golf trip for fun. I found this course randomly because it was halfway for all of us. I could not be more pleased with my choice. Perfectly groomed fairways, beautifully manicured greens. The best part was it was true links golf with ball rollout and beautiful sites, and of course challenging but playable shots on almost every shot. If you're wanting to try a new course choose this one. I wasn't disappointed you won't be either.

The nicest course in the area. Period. Carts have the hi tech gps and gives tips ect. Love not having to pull the range finder out. Back 9, wow….very difficult and challenging. Great layout, and views. Course was in incredible shape for early October. Staff was great as well. I wish I would have checked this out earlier in the season! Great price too for fall, if you can get here before the season ends, I highly recommend this course.
